Another THE MUPPETS Poster
The Muppets has a new poster courtesy of Walt Disney Pictures. Directed by James Bobin with a script by Jason Segel and Nicholas Stoller, the November 23rd release stars Segel and Amy Adams as a couple from Smalltown, USA who discover that Chris Cooper’s devious Tex Richman is planning to knock down the Muppet Theatre and drill for oil. Jack Black, Emily Blunt, Mila Kunis, Selena Gomez, Zach Galifianakis, Ricky Gervais and Katy Perry will also appear in The Muppets.

Screen Gems has released the red band trailer for the upcoming comedy Friends with Benefits, starring Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake.
Friends With Benefits follows a young female headhunter (Mila Kunis) in New York who convinces a potential recruit (Justin Timberlake) to accept a job in the Big Apple. Despite an attraction to each other, both realize they’re everything they’ve been running from in a relationship and decide to see what happens if they leave emotion out of it and keep it strictly physical.
Abigail Spencer Joins Oz, The Great and Powerful
So, let’s continue our little chat about the upcoming Sam Raimi‘s Oz, The Great and Powerful project that definitely has some impressive cast on board. And it’s getting bigger every single day!
According to the latest reports, Abigail Spencer has joined the previously announced James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams and Zach Braff.
As you already know, the movie is penned by Mitchell Kapner and David Lindsay-Abaire, and it will follow a young illusionist with a grandiose attitude who is forced to flee a traveling circus.
His hot air balloon is swept up by a tornado to the land of Oz, which is run by two magical wicked witches.
Logically, up there he must team up with Glinda the Good Witch in order to battle her evil counterparts who are bent on taking over the land.
As for the cast, Franco is on board to star as the charismatic magician, Mila Kunis and Rachel Weisz are the evil witches, while Michelle Williams is Glinda The Good Witch.

Today a new TV spot and poster for the upcoming comedy film Friends With Benefits have been released.
Synopsis: Dylan (Justin Timberlake) and Jamie (Mila Kunis) think it’s going to be easy to add the simple act of sex to their friendship, despite what Hollywood romantic comedies would have them believe. They soon discover however that getting physical really does always lead to complications. Patricia Clarkson, Jenna Elfman, Bryan Greenberg, Richard Jenkins and Woody Harrelson co-star.

Michelle Williams to Play Glinda in Oz The Great and Powerful
Oz, The Great and Powerful – the project that definitely deserves our attention. So, today we’re here to report that Michelle Williams will join the cast of Sam Raimi‘s upcoming prequel to the classic 1939 film The Wizard of Oz.
And yeah, that actually means Williams is now set to star as Glinda, the Good Witch.
I’m sure you already know that director Raimi previously wanted Hilary Swank for this role, while Disney wanted Williams. And they won their battle.
So now, Williams will team with James Franco, Rachel Weisz and Mila Kunis in a struggle for control of the magical land of Oz.
The premise is about “a young illusionist with a grandiose attitude who is forced to flee a traveling circus. His hot air balloon is swept up by a tornado to the land of Oz, which is run by two magical wicked witches.

Definitely an interesting choice for director’s Sam Raimi new story that will follow:

One can only assume that he then somehow takes control of Oz setting the stage for Dorothy to show up and tell him there’s no place like home.”

Apparently, Sam Raimi and guys from Disney are having some troubles when it comes to the casting of one of the evil witches. And guess what, director Raimi wants to cast two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank, while the studio is “strongly opposed to such an idea” and wants to cast two-time Oscar nominee Michelle Williams for the same role!
Jessica Stroup Joins Seth MacFarlane’s Ted
Few days ago we had a little chat about the upcoming Seth MacFarlane’s R-rated comedy titled Ted, and today, we’re here for another update. Things are getting quite serious with this one, and we just learned that Jessica Stroup, probably best known from Beverly Hills 90210 is also set to star in it, alongside Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Joel McHale, Giovanni Ribisi and Patrick Warburton.
As you know, Ted is the story co-written by McFarlane and Alec Sulkin, that will center on a man (Mark Wahlberg) who, as young boy made a Christmas wish that his Teddy Bear (played by MacFarlane using motion-capture) would come to life and be his best friend forever. Twenty-five years later, the bear is still at his side, but has now evolved into a cursing, smoking, delinquent that is preventing the man from maturing.
