“Monsters VS Aliens” Leaked Trailer and Posters
The trailer and posters for the upcoming DreamWorks animation’ flick (’50s monster movie remake) “Monsters vs. Aliens” was shown during Comic-Con. A week after it is being screened to the convention’s attendees, the bootlegged version of the footage can be enjoyed.When a meteorite from outer space hits a young California girl named Susan Murphy (Reese Witherspoon) and turns her into a giant monster, she is taken to a secret government compound where she meets a ragtag group of monsters also rounded up over the years. As a last resort, under the guidance of General W.R. Monger (Kiefer Sutherland), on a desperate order from The President, the motley crew of Monsters is called into action to combat the aliens and save the world from imminent destruction!
“Monsters vs. Aliens” is scheduled to hit conventional and 3-D IMAX theaters on March 27th, 2009.

‘Monsters vs Aliens’ - First Look
‘Monsters vs. Aliens‘ is directed by Rob Letterman (who directed Shark Tale) and Conrad Vernon (who directed Shrek 2), two very experienced DreamWorks team members.

Susan Murphy aka Ginormica (voiced by Reese Witherspoon), is a modern-day California girl who has the bad luck to be hit by a meteor on her wedding day and grows to be 49 feet, 11½ inches tall.

Aside from Witherspoon, other actors joining the film include Hugh Laurie (Dr. Cockroach, PhD), Seth Rogen (the jellylike B.O.B.), Will Arnett (the half-ape, half-fish Missing Link), Kiefer Sutherlan (Gen. W.R. Monger) and Stephen Colbert (the president), and finally, Rainn Wilson (the evil alien Gallaxhar).
The film hits theaters on March 27th, 2009.
Reese Witherspoon Is Gigantic Woman in ‘Monsters vs. Aliens’
Reese Witherspoon is going to be Ginormica in animated film “Monsters vs. Aliens“.
Reese will be voicing Susan Murphy whose life changes as she becomes a gigantic woman after being hit by a meteor.
On agreeing to lend her voice, Witherspoon said that she was impressed with the animation storyboard stating,
“I got very inspired when the studio showed me storyboards.”
Commenting on her gigantic character, the 5′2″ actress jokingly said,
“Playing a larger-than-life woman has given me my own opportunity to make tall jokes.”
Aside from Witherspoon, other actors joining the film include Hugh Laurie, Seth Rogen, Will Arnett, Kiefer Sutherland and Stephen Colbert.
The five actors are set to give voices to Dr. Cockroach, Ph.D., the jellylike B.O.B., the half-ape, half-fish Missing Link, General W.R. Monger and the president.
“Monsters” is based on the horror comicbook “Rex Havoc“. It will be directed by Rob Letterman and Conrad Vernon.
The animated film is set for March 3, 2009 release.
