Columbia Pictures has released a new poster for Tom Tykwer’s action thriller “The International.”
The International centers on an obsessive Interpol agent (Clive Owen) who spearheads an investigation into one of the world’s most high-profile and powerful banking institutions in an attempt to expose them for worldwide arms brokering, corruption and murder. Naomi Watts will play a Manhattan assistant district attorney who partners with the agent to take down the bank.

“The International” Trailer
The trailer for the upcoming thriller “The International,” starring Clive Owen and Naomi Watts, has been released.
The plot centers on an obsessive Interpol agent (Owen) who spearheads an investigation into one of the world’s most high-profile and powerful banking institutions in an attempt to expose them for worldwide arms brokering, corruption and murder. Watts will play a Manhattan assistant district attorney and ends up
partnering with the agent to take down the bank.
“The International” directed by Tom Tykwer (”Run, Lola, Run“, “Perfume: The Story of a Murderer“) is scheduled to hit theaters on February 13th, 2009.

“Defiance” - New Movie Stills
Take a look at the new images from the upcoming film “Defiance” by director Edward Zwick.

Unlike the film he is known most for, “Defiance” will not have the glitz and glamour of 007.
“Defiance” is based on a true story, three Jewish brothers (Daniel Craig as Tuvia Bielski, Jamie Bell and Liev Schreiber) escape Nazi-occupied Poland and head into the forest to join Russian resistance fighters and try to save the lives of other Jews.
“Defiance” will hit the theaters on December 12, 2008

Anthony Hopkins as King Lear - Confirmed
Anthony Hopkins has been confirmed to play the title role in a new movie version of Shakespeare’s ”King Lear.”
He first played the role in a stage production at the National Theatre in 1987.
Hopkins is said to be “thrilled” to be starring in the film, which was announced at Cannes last month.
Keira Knightley will play Cordelia, the youngest daughter of the King, Gwyneth Paltrow will be Regan, Lear’s treacherous middle daughter and Naomi Watts will play King’s eldest daughter, Goneril.
The $35 million film ”King Lear” will feature epic battle sequences, according to its makers.

Daniel Craig now playing one of three Jewish brothers trying to escape Nazi-occupied Poland in his new film ‘Defiance’, Daniel will still be resuming his action hero persona.
Alongside Naomi Watts’s significant other Liev Shreiber and Jamie Bell, known for his role as Billy Elliot, the actor will lead the film which has been in development for the past eight years.
