Neil Marshall to Direct New Horror Film
CBS Films announced back in July, they have nabbed feature rights to William Penick and Chris Sey‘s original horror screenplay from a concept by Valhalla’s Ben Roberts.
Now Neil Marshall is in early talks to direct Hellfest, a horror project about a costumed killer who systematically slaughters the unsuspecting visitors who come to a huge amusement on Halloween night believing it’s all part of the show.
Neil Marshall to Write World War II Alien Invasion Movie
Look at this title, is that interesting, or what? Ok, we do know that Neil Marshall is good when it comes to horror movies (remember Descent?), but what about this aliens all of the sudden?
Just in case you still don’t have idea what we’re talking about, here’s a little explanation. Apparently, Marshall is now having some “alien invasion” plans for his future movie.
That’s exactly what Marshall revealed in an interview with LiveForFilms at the Jameson Empire Awards. He said that he’s currently chasing a number of different projects, but that he’s writing one too. When asked what kind of story that is, Marshall explained: “…it’s a World War II alien invasion movie.”
New Centurion Posters and Photos
Magnolia Pictures has debuted three new character posters and eight new hi-res photos from the upcoming film Centurion, which is available now via VOD, Playstation Network, Xbox Marketplace and Amazon and will hit theaters on August 27, 2010

New Centurion Poster and Two Clips
Magnolia Pictures has released new comic poster and clip for Centurion. In anticipation of the nationwide theatrical release of Neil Marshall’s latest thriller, Magnoliahas tapped renowned British comics artist Simon Bisley to create a one of a kind poster featuring the film’s main characters played by Michael Fassbender and Olga Kurylenko.
This is the first time Bisley has created a piece of art for a motion picture. He is best known for his 1990s work on ABC Warriors, Lobo and Sláine; his style, reliant on paints, acrylics, inks and multiple mediums, and takes inspiration from rock album covers and graffiti, as well as traditional comics art.

Magnet Releasing has debuted a bloody, new red band trailer for Neil Marshall‘s Centurion, the Roman action-adventure tale starring Michael Fassbender, Olga Kurylenko and Dominic West.
The film is set during the Roman invasion of Britain in AD 117, details the story of Quintus Dias, sole survivor of a Pictish raid on a Roman frontier fort, who marches north with General Virilus’ legendary Ninth Legion, under orders to wipe the Picts from the face of the earth and destroy their leader Gorlacon.

International Centurion Character Posters
More character posters for British historical thriller film Centurion have been outed by Celador Films.
Centurion is directed by Neil Marshall, about the ill-fated Ninth Legion marching north to Caledonia to wipe out the Picts and their leader. Michael Fassbender, Dominic West, Olga Kurylenko, Noel Clarke, JJ Feild, Imogen Poots, David Morrissey, Paul Freeman, Lee Ross, Ulrich Thomsen and Riz Ahmed star.
Six New Centurion Images
Today we have six new high res images from the upcoming Centurion fantasy adventure movie which is directed by Neil Marshall (Doomsday, The Descent) and based on a script he wrote.
Based on the legend of the Ninth Legion, an army of 3000 unstoppable Roman warriors who vanished without trace, Centurion is the tale of their vicious conflict with a murderous adversary, the Picts. Quintus Dias (Michael Fassbender), a Roman corporal, is taken hostage by the Pict King, Gorlacon and the Ninth are charged with bringing him home and ending Pict domination of Britain. Led by General Virilus (Dominic West) and guided by a Pict prisoner and warrior woman named Etain (Olga Kurylenko), the army marches towards enemy territory and finds itself in the midst of a perilous battle with a mysterious foe.
