New Predators Featurette: Isabelle and Photos
20th Century Fox has released new featurette and the first official image from Predators, the Robert Rodriguez-written and produced straight sequel to John McTiernan’s 1987 original.
Rodriguez introduces the character, Isabelle, played by Alice Braga in a brand new Predators featurette. He describes her as a CIA black ops assassin. She’s the group’s ultra-deadly sniper and you’ve gotta think that means trouble for their predator assailants, assuming she can spot them through her scope.
Predators Featurettes: Royce & Edwin
20th Century Fox has released two new kick-ass behind the scenes featurettes for Predators, focusing on the character of Royce portrayed by Adrien Brody and Edwin portrayed by Topher Grace.
Royce (Adrien Brody), a mercenary who reluctantly leads a group of elite warriors who come to realize they’ve been brought together on an alien planet… as prey. With the exception of a disgraced physician, they are all cold-blooded killers mercenaries, Yakuza, convicts, death squad members human “predators” that are now being systemically hunted and eliminated by a new breed of alien Predators.
New Predators Featurette: Adrien Brody is Royce
20th Century Fox and producer Robert Rodriguez have revealed another preview to Predators by debuting a new featurette which centers on Adrien Brody‘s character Royce.
Royce, a mercenary who reluctantly leads a group of elite warriors who come to realize they’ve been brought together on an alien planet… as prey. With the exception of a disgraced physician, they are all cold-blooded killers mercenaries, Yakuza, convicts, death squad members human “predators” that are now being systemically hunted and eliminated by a new breed of alien Predators.
Directed by Nimrod Antal, the film also stars Topher Grace, Alice Braga, Lawrence Fishburne, Walton Goggins, Mahershalalhashbaz Ali, Oleg Taktarov, Louis Ozawa Changchien and Danny Trejo.
Predators will hit theaters July 7, 2010.

First PREDATORS Set Photos
Today we have the first photos from the set of Nimrod Antal‘s “Predators” remake being produced by Robert Rodriguez.
A reboot of the cult sci-fi action serie follows a group of elite warrior-types who are being hunted by members of a race of merciless alien trackers called Predators. Adrien Brody is a man who ends up inheriting the mantle of leader and is known as a hunter of men. Topher Grace is an accountant-type whose unassuming facade masks a dangerous serial killer. Alice Braga is the tough female killer. Mahershalalhashbaz Ali is a man not afraid to die, Walton Goggins is the loose canon of the group and Oleg Taktarov is a former Russian special ops agent. Danny Trejo is Cuchillo, a hardened warrior with twin Uzis strapped to his back.
