With only five months to go before the release of the highly-anticipated new James Bond movie, ‘Quantum of Solace‘, FilmoFilia and MGM are offering you the chance to view some exclusive behind the scenes footage featuring new Bond girl Olga Kurylenko.

Here are some new ‘Quantum of Solace‘ photos, Daniel Craig, Olga Kurylenko, Gemma Arterton and Mathieu Amalric on the set.
They’ve been to Panama and Baja California, Mexico, with plans to shift next to Italy and Austria before returning to London’s famed Pinewood Studios for more stage shooting.
Director Marc Forster says setting the climax in the wasteland of Chile’s Atacama Desert fuses the plot with the internal life of Bond.”I chose the desert because it’s isolated, you feel lonely, and that’s what Bond is struggling with himself,” Forster says. “In the desert, it’s unforgivable. You’re out there, and you might die. “
‘Quantum of Solace’ Goes 4K Resolution
“Quantum of Solace“, the 22nd film in the James Bond franchise will feature a complex visual effects shot captured digitally in 4K resolution, which offers four times the amount of picture information typically captured by most digital cinematography cameras.
The shot for the Marc Forster-helmed title is being lensed using eight shutter synchronized 4K Origin cameras from Dalsa, one of only two companies now shipping 4K digital cinematography cameras. Specifics are being kept under wraps, but the shot will feature Daniel Craig in his role as James Bond and Olga Kurylenko as the film’s lead Bond girl, Camille.
Director of photography Roberto Schaefer and consulting visual effects cinematographer David Stump collaborated on the shot.
The Dalsa Origin was the only uncompressed, high-resolution, low-noise camera system we could count on to do what we needed to do,
visual effects designer Kevin Tod Haug said.
Added Stump:
Working with uncompressed 4K gave us the ability to mine the maximum amount of detail from the scene.
Dalsa shipped the camera packages from Los Angeles to Movietech Camera Rentals at Pinewood Studios in the U.K., where both companies prepped the cameras, which recorded 4K data to eight Codex digital disk recorders. In total, more than 3.8GB of image data were recorded every second, Dalsa Digital Cinema president Rob Hummel said. The Codex disk packs were delivered to Sohonet in London for backup, after which the files were delivered to London-based visual effects house Double Negative.

“Solace” is scheduled for release Oct. 31 in the U.K. and Nov. 7 in the U.S.
Olga Kurylenko - Bond Girl Happy With Topless Roles
New Bond girl Olga Kurylenko has revealed that she is comfortable with appearing nude onscreen.The actress, who will star in 22nd 007 movie Quantum of Solace, added that she would happily strip off in the Bond movie if the producers requested it.
She is quoted as saying: “I’ve never had a problem going topless or being naked for a film. When you’re on the beach you’re almost naked anyway.
“It was the same with my naked scenes in Hitman, which I did last year. I sent my body double back because I wanted to do the scenes myself.
“If they want me to strip off for Bond, that’s fine.”
