Juno Temple Joins Three Musketeers

British actress Juno Temple is in negotiations to play the Queen Consort of France, Anne of Austria in the new Paul W.S. Anderson‘s 3D version of The Three Musketeers, that we already wrote about few days ago.

This role would put her on a quite impressive cast list that already includes Christoph Waltz, Mads Mikkelsen, Logan Lerman, Ray Stevenson, Luke Evans, Matthew Macfayden and Milla Jovovich.

Based on Alexandre Dumas‘ novel, The Three Musketeers sees the young, determined D’Artagnan attempt to prove himself worthy of joining the three musketeers – Athos, Porthos and Aramis – to battle the evil Cardinal Richelieu.

At this moment we know D’Artangan is Logan Lerman, Ray Stevenson will be Porthos, Luke Evans is Athos, while Matthew Macfadyen is Aramis.

Johnny Depp, star of the upcoming Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, recently appeared at a press event this weekend for Alice in Wonderland and talked briefly about Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides, which will start shooting this summer in Hawaii.

Here is what Depp had to say:

Johnny, we heard that there’s not going to be any Keira Knightley or Orlando Bloom in the next Pirates. Is it going to be more Jack Sparrow front and center?

Depp: Yeah, there’s no Keira or Orlando in there. I don’t know. I don’t think we’d ever throw too much Jack Sparrow in there. It’ll be everybody.

British actor Orlando Bloom has revealed he won’t be reprising his role in the next “Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” which will start shooting this spring in Hawaii.

“No, definitely not,”

Orlando Bloom said when asked if we was going to reprise his role as the dashing Will Turner

“I think Will is sort of swimming around with the fish at the bottom of the ocean. I had a great time making those movies. I just really wanted to do different things.”

Movie love interest Keira Knightley announced her “pirating days are over” in 2008, prompting speculation that Bloom would walk the plank behind her.

Take a look at the promo trailer for “New York, I Love You” from the producer of “Paris, je t’aime” that opened the 2006 ‘Un Certain Regard’ section of the Cannes Film Festival.

“New York, I Love You” is a collection of 12 short films that will be a cinematic love letter to the Big Apple.

Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson are making their directorial debuts and helming their own segments. Portman also plays a Jewish bride.

Shia LeBeouf with Julie Christie and John Hurt is in a segment scripted by the late Anthony Minghella, which he was also set to direct until his death. He is replaced by Shekhar Kapur.
Hayden Christensen, Rachel Bilson, Chris Cooper, Anton Yelchin, Ethan Hawke and Kevin Bacon will take acting roles, whilst X-Men 3 helmer Brett Ratner will direct a segment. Continue Reading…

Diane Kruger in ‘Troy’Diane Kruger has admitted that she doesn’t like her breakthrough movie Troy.

Kruger said: “You can’t tell whether or not I can act from Troy. It kind of sucked to be honest.”

Kruger played Helen of Troy in the 2004 Illiad epic opposite Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom and Eric Bana and wasn’t happy with the type of roles offered to her after its release.

“I was just starting out and didn’t want to play all the parts I was subsequently offered in these big movies. I had to get out,” Kruger explained.
