Our Wild Life finally has Nicole Kidman on board. Yeah, exactly, it’s official, Kidman will indeed star in the upcoming Phillip Noyce‘s project based on the life of animal conservationist Dame Daphne Sheldrick.

I’m not actually sure if I’m even interested in this one, but hey, what the hell – I guess I’m always interested in Nicole-Kidman-big-comeback. After all, she’s been returning to the big screen for… ages?

So, in case you’re interested as well, I will remind you that Jeff Stockwell wrote the script, and that Our Wild Life tells the real life story of Dame Daphne Sheldrick, a Kenyan wildlife conservationist best known for her work with elephants.

Phillip Noyce is getting busy! Salt director is now attached to direct thriller titled The Arrangement for Mandate Pictures and it looks that we have quite interesting story in here.

Of course, it’s too early to expect some great details about the whole thing but as usual with Noyce on board, this has to be great!

So, at this moment we know that The Arrangement comes from writer Brian Tucker, and that a story will follow a married woman who makes a deal to spend three days with a wealthy man in exchange for a bailout loan, and then must choose between him and her husband.

Nicole Kidman As Lead in Our Wild Life

Nicole KidmanIt’s time for some elephants on a big screen. And for Nicole Kidman, too! Apparently, Kidman is currently in talks with the producers of the upcoming Phillip Noyce project titled Our Wild Life to star as Dame Daphne Sheldrick.

So, yes, this is going to be the drama about “the wildlife conservationist’s work with animals” and if negotiations work out well, we’ll soon have a chance to watch Nicole reunited with her Dead Calm director once again.

Our Wild Life will tell us the real life story of Dame Daphne Sheldrick, a Kenyan wildlife conservationist best known for her work with elephants.

In fact, Sheldrick hand-reared more than 70 elephants and perfected a milk formula used for baby elephants and rhinos.

According to the latest reports, the actress is yet to reach a deal but liked the script.

UPDATE: Phillip Noyce has officially signed on to direct Hunter Killer

Phillip Noyce is in talks to direct the upcoming action-thriller Hunter Killer. Yeah, you probably remember that Pierre Morel, District B13 helmer, was once attached to the whole thing, but now, it looks that Salt director will be in charge after all.

It sounds good, especially after we learned that Noyce is not attached to direct the Salt sequel.

Hunter Killer is based off the novel Firing Point, that is written by George Wallace and Don Keith.

Although the latest Angelina Jolie action movie was recently released in theaters, looks like the team behind it likes the idea of getting back in the story, and when we say that we mean that the screenwriter Kurt Wimmer, director Philip Noyce and Salt star Angelina Jolie are all interested in making a sequel…

According to LA Times “…Writer Kurt Wimmer has ideas for how to advance the story of the spy thriller, in which Evelyn Salt is a Russian plant in the highest echelons of the CIA who may or may not be working for her home country.

Director Phillip Noyce, for his part, is said to be interested in returning for a new installment. Scheduling and preferences would need to be worked out, however:

Though the filmmaker doesn’t officially have a new movie, he is involved with several high-priority development projects. Angelina Jolie had said that she’s keen to work on a sequel.
