18 Animated Feature Films Submit for 84th Annual Academy Awards
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has unveiled 18 movies that have been submitted for consideration in the Animated Feature Film category for the 84th Academy Awards.
Spielberg’s The Adventures of Tintin seems a clear favorite for the prize. However, its motion-capture technique has raised doubts concerning its eligibility as an animated feature.

PUSS IN BOOTS Clips, Featurettes and Commercial
DreamWorks Animation has released a new clip, eight featurettes, promo clip and commercial for Chris Miller’ Puss in Boots. The film features the voices of Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Zach Galifianakis, Billy Bob Thornton and Amy Sedaris.
Miller (Shrek The Third) once again takes the helm and it also boasts an executive production credit from Guillermo Del Toro.

A promo trailer for Chris Miller’s Puss in Boots has gone online. The computer-animated toon features the voices of Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots and Salma Hayek as Kitty Softpaws, Zach Galifianakis as Humpty Dumpty.

The first clip for Puss In Boots, a computer-animated toon has arrived. Chris Miller, director of Shrek the Third, will be at the helm of this cat-tastic adventure and audiences can take it all in on IMAX screens as well as plain ol’ 3D.

DreamWorks Animation has released two new posters for Puss in Boots. The Shrek spin off itself follows Puss (Antonio Banderas) in the years before he meets the eponymous green ogre. We meet the proud pussy as he embarks on a mission to steal the famous goose that lays the golden eggs, working with mastermind Humpty Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis) and partnered in crime by the savvy and sexy Kitty Softpaws (Salma Hayek).
