Rade Serbedzija on Angelina Jolie’s War Love Story
A few days ago we had a little chat about Angelina Jolie and her plans for shooting of a movie in Serbia and the region, which would mark her directorial debut.
So, you probably remember that we also mentioned Jolie will be in the leading female role, right?
But, that’s not going to happen, because the actress will make her debut as a director and a screenwriter for the upcoming romance. Sorry guys, but no Jolie on a big screen this time!
We also know that Rade Serbedzija (The Saint, Snatch, Batman Begins, Eyes Wide Shut, Mission: Impossible II, Thick as Thieves) will appear in Jolie’s yet untitled war love story.
“For almost two months already I have been in contact with Angelina Jolie. She tried to contact me via my agents and they told her that I am not acting in movies on war in former Yugoslavia.
I rejected all offers because scenarios were mainly poor and onesided. When she was told why I had rejected her offer, Angelina contacted me by phone and asked me to read the scenario. The text is fantastic,” Serbedzija said.
Angelina Jolie to Work on War Love Story Set in Former Yugoslavia
Angelina Jolie will visit Belgrade, Serbia on September 3rd to agree with Serbian producing house Abarit shooting of a movie in Serbia and the region.
According to our source this movie would be her directorial debut. The co-producer will be Filip Gajic, a reputable Belgrade director and owner of producing house Abarit.
Rade Serbedzija will appear in the movie, while Jolie will be in the leading female role.
The movie centers on “a couple who meet on the eve of the war and the effect it has on their relationship,” said Jolie.
It will be a love story between two people who found themselves on opposite sides during wars in former Yugoslavia.
“The film is a love story, not a political statement,” Jolie added.
Morgan Freeman’s The Code Trailer
Today we have an international trailer for a crime movie coming out – “The Code,” which stars Morgan Freeman, Antonio Banderas, Radha Mitchell, Robert Forster, Tom Hardy and Rade Serbedzija. “The Code” is US working title but the movie is also known as “Thick as Thieves”
A veteran thief recruits a younger crook to help him pull off one final job in order to repay his debt to the Russian mob. Mitchell plays a temptress whose romantic liaison with a thief (Banderas) threatens to come between him and his partner in crime, her godfather (Freeman).

Today we have batch of new photos from the upcoming horror film “Quarantine.”
A remake of the Spanish film REC, a downtown Los Angeles apartment building is quarantined after a mysterious deadly and highly contagious strain of rabies breaks out.
Television reporter Angela Vidal (Jennifer Carpenter) and her cameraman (Steve Harris) are assigned to spend the night shift with a Los Angeles Fire Station. After a routine 911 call takes them to a small apartment building, they find police officers already on the scene in response to blood curdling screams coming from one of the apartment units. They soon learn that a woman living in the building has been infected by something unknown. After a few of the residents are viciously attacked, they try to escape with the news crew in tow, only to find that the CDC has quarantined the building. Phones, internet, televisions and cell phone access have been cut-off, and officials are not relaying information to those locked inside. When the quarantine is finally lifted, the only evidence of what took place is the news crew’s videotape.
