Thanks to MTV, we now have the new pic for the upcoming “Ninja Assassin,” featuring a shot of the Rain.

Here’s a new photos for the upcoming action film “Ninja Assassin” produced by the Wachowski brothers.
Raizo (Rain) is one of the world’s deadliest assassins, having been kidnapped as a child and raised by the Ozunu Clan, believed by the world to be a myth. When Raizo’s friend is executed by the clan, Raizo flees into hiding. He later reemerges, seeking revenge.
Meanwhile, Mika Coretti (Naomie Harris) is a Europol agent who investigates money linked to political murders and finds that it is linked to the Ozunu Clan. She defies her superior, Ryan Maslow (Ben Miles), and retrieves secret agency files to find out more. The clan, finding out about the investigation, attempts to assassinate her, but she is rescued by Raizo. Hiding in Europe, Raizo and Mika must find a way to take down the Ozunu Clan.
First “Ninja Assassin” Trailer And New Poster
The first trailer for the upcoming action movie “Ninja Assassin” has debuted. The movie is directed by James McTeigue who is also directed great “V for Vendetta.” So, McTeigue re-teams with that film’s producers Larry and Andy Wachowski for this martial arts extravaganza “Ninja Assassin.” Check out the trailer below.

But when assassins from Ozunu Clan kill Raizo’s friend, their days are numbered. Raizo breaks free from the gang and vanishes. Now he waits, preparing to exact his revenge, subsequently biding his time until the day he can take the entire Ozunu Clan down. Later, in Berlin, Europol agent Mika Coretti (Naomie Harris) discovers a money trail connecting multiple political murders to a mysterious network of elusive assassins.
“Ninja Assassin” also stars Ben Miles (”V For Vendetta”) as Europol Agent Ryan Maslow, legendary martial arts performer Sho Kosugi (”Revenge of the Ninja”) as the ruthless leader of the Ozunu Clan and Rick Yune (”Die Another Day”) as Raizo’s rival, Ozunu assassin Takeshi.
“Ninja Assassin” written by Matthew Sand and J. Michael Straczynski based on Sand’s story is scheduled to hit theaters on November 25, 2009.
“Ninja Assassin” Behind-the-Scene Video
Some great footage from the set of the upcoming Wachowski brothers-produced action film “Ninja Assassin” has appeared online, showing several fight sequences, stunts and lots of ninjas.
Displaying first a distant shot of a group of ninjas running in the middle of a road with cars speeding in both of their sides, the footage let out the combat between the three ninjas. This behind-the-scene look also exposes Rain’s character covered in blood while running away from those who chase him.

‘Ninja Assassin’ News and Plot Summary
The team behind “V for Vendetta” are back in action and one has to wonder if the Wachowski brothers will have better luck as producers this time around than they did as directors for “Speed Racer“, the lowest cash producing film of May. Warner Bros. has sent out a press release stating that director James McTeigue is once again behind the camera as their martial arts extravaganza “Ninja Assassin” officially begins production in Berlin.
