“G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra” new behind the scenes clip
“G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra” new behind the scenes footage hits the web, and it shows Byung-Hun Lee’s Storm Shadow in action as a bodyguard to Christopher Eccelston’s Destro.
From the Egyptian desert to deep below the polar ice caps, the elite co-ed GI JOE team, based from it’s headquarters The Pit, deploys the latest in next-gen spy and military equipment to fight crooked arms dealer Destro and the growing threat of the mysterious COBRA organization from plunging the world into chaos.
The film stars Ray Parks, Sienna Miller, Rachel Nichols, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Dennis Quiad, Said Taghmaoui, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Marlon Wayans, Channing Tatum, Arnold Vosloo, Karolina Isela Kurkov, Byung Hun Lee and Christopher Eccleston.
“G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra” is currently filming and is scheduled for an August 7, 2009 release.

The movie will be a modern telling of the “G.I. Joe vs. Cobra” storyline and its compelling characters that Hasbro created 25 years ago.

The premise of this fantasy is the story of the G.I. Joe team, led by Duke, and their “fight for freedom wherever there is trouble” against the evil Cobra Commander and his Cobra force.
G.I. Joe opens August 7th, 2009.
