[REC] 2 picks up 15 minutes from where we left off, taking us back into the quarantined apartment building where a terrifying virus has run rampant, turning the occupants into mindlessly violent, raging beasts. A heavily armed SWAT team and a mysterious government official are sent in to assess and attempt to neutralize the situation. What they find inside lies beyond the scope of medical science—a demonic nightmare of biblical proportions more terrifying than they could have possibly imagined.
The film is both written and directed by Spanish filmmakers Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza. Stars Manuela Velasco, Ferran Terraza, Pablo Rosso, Javier Botet, Àlex Batllori, Jonathan Mellor, Claudia Font and Ariel Casas.

The action continues from [Rec], with the medical officer and a SWAT team outfitted with video cameras are sent into the sealed off apartment to control the situation.
The film is both written and directed by Spanish filmmakers Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza. Starring Manuela Velasco, Leticia Dolera, Ferran Terraza, Juli Fabregas, Pep Molina, Oscar Zafra, and Alejandro Casaseca.

Four new Italian posters for “REC 2“, starring Manuela Velasco, Leticia Dolera, Ferran Terraza, Juli Fabregas, Pep Molina, Oscar Zafra, and Alejandro Casaseca, have hit the web.
The story takes place immediately after the events of the first film, with producing company Filmax International describing it as having “the same claustrophobic concept” as REC but with “new means of transferring fear from the screen to the spectator through the recording lens.
First [Rec] 2 Teaser Trailer
The first official teaser trailer for the sequel to the 2007 Spanish cult horror hit “[Rec] has been revealed. [Rec] was remade by ScreenGems into American movie “Quarantine.”
This sequel shrouded in secrecy but at BeyondHollywood.com we’ve found:
As I hear it, the remake was a very faithful translation of the Spanish original, which was barely a year old when the remake hit theaters. The sequel to the Spanish original takes place a few hours after the events of the first film, and is set in the same apartment building where things, shall we say, went very badly. Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza, who did the first movie, are back again for the sequel. This time around, the cast includes Manuela Velasco, Leticia Dolera, and Juli Fàbregas.”
