Today we have for your several clips and TV spots for McG’s upcoming action-comedy This Means War, starring Chris Pine, Tom Hardy and Reese Witherspoon.
Hardy and Pine playing CIA agents who discover that they’re both dating Reese Witherspoon. They decide, of course, to not tell Witherspoon that they don’t know each other and settle the matter with warheads, tranquilizer darts, explosions and well-timed rain. May the best man win, until, well, Witherspoon discovers the secret battle.
Firth Joins Witherspoon for West Memphis 3 Dramatization DEVIL’S KNOT
Mara Leveritt’s 2003 book ‘Devil’s Knot: The True Story of the West Memphis Three’ is based on the true events surrounding the 1993 murder of three 8-year-old boys in West Memphis, Arkansas, and the subsequent arrest of three teens — known by their supporters as the West Memphis 3 — suspected of committing the murders through satanic rituals.
Atom Egoyan’s (Chloe) new directorial effort, Devil’s Knot from a screenplay by Paul Harris Boardman and Scott Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose) is based on this non-fiction book.

20th Century Fox have released an international (UK) poster for McG’s romantic comedy This Means War.
Chris Pine (“Star Trek”) and Tom Hardy (“Inception”) are to incredibly handsome slabs of beef that also happen to be CIA superspies and BFFs. Their unshakable cameraderie, however, takes a severe nosedive when they discover they’re both dating the same woman (Reese Witherspoon).

Kitschy paintings of doleful waifs with over-sized eyes always bring back my childhood memory. For director Tim Burton he is given his memories back in the very next episode when he commissioned Margaret Keane to paint a portrait of his one-time fiancé, Apes co-star Lisa Marie holding their pet Chihuahua.
Well, things went something like this: writers Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski, the duo who also wrote Agent Cody Banks, first pitched the biopic Big Eyes to their Ed Wood director Tim Burton in August 2010.
THIS MEANS WAR Moves Up to Valentine’s Day Release
Twentieth Century Fox is declaring “War” on Valentine’s Day – moving up by three days its comedy-action film This Means War, to Tuesday, February 14th, 2012.
This audacious strike comes on the heels of outstanding test screenings and strong word of mouth.

Reese Witherspoon Joins West Memphis Three Tale
We told you earlier this month Peter Jackson announced the completion of West of Memphis, a nonfiction feature directed by Amy Berg about the three men who were teenagers when they were arrested, convicted and imprisoned for the murders of three 8-year-old boys in the small town of West Memphis, Arkansas in 1993.
The story of the West Memphis Three has already been the subject of notable documentaries from filmmakers including Berlinger-Sinofsky’s Paradise Lost 1, 2 and 3.

New THIS MEANS WAR Posters and Photos Arrive
Check out a new, the second movie poster and three hi-res photos from the action-romantic-comedy This Means War.
The film is directed by McG (Charlie’s Angels, We Are Marshall, Terminator Salvation ) and stars Tom Hardy and Chris Pine as two CIA operatives and best friends who happen to be in love with the same woman (Reese Witherspoon). When the two find out that they are both romantically involved with her, they find ways to in her heart using field training, skills, and technology against each other. Chelsea Handler co-stars in the film as Witherspoon’s pal and terrible adviser, convincing her to date both of them in the first place.
