Ving Rhames, Ellen Barkin and Rob Corddry join “Rogues Gallery”
Ving Rhames, Ellen Barkin and Rob Corddry have signed to join the indie comedy “Rogues Gallery.”
Variety reports Michael Ohoven and Kevin Turen are producing the film through their Infinity Films, and shooting started on July 21st in Lost Angeles.
The movie, a spy spoof which takes place in an underground government intelligence facility, will be directed by French director Fouad Mikati from a script by Brian Watanabe and Abe Levy.
“Rogues Gallery” also features Joe Anderson, Odette Yustman, Bob Odenkirk, Jeffrey Tambor, Maggie Q, Emilie de Ravin and Adam Scott.
Michael Ohoven, Kevin Turen, Richard Kelly, Sean McKittrick and Ted Hamm are serving as producers.

U.K.’s Velvet Octopus is working on a sequel to the 2001 cult film Donnie Darko entitled S. Darko.
The story picks up seven years after the first film (and Donnie’s death) when little sister Samantha Darko and her best friend Corey are now 18 and on a roadtrip to Los Angeles when they are plagued by bizarre visions.
Daviegh Chase will reprise her role as Donnie’s younger sister. The cast also includes Ed Westwick and Justin Chatwin.
Ash Shah’s Silver Nitrate and Newmarket Capital will produce. Chris Fisher (Nightstalker and Rampage: The Hillside Strangler Murders) will direct.
Fisher said in a statement: “I am a great admirer of Richard Kelly’s film and hope to create a similar world of blurred fantasy and reality.”
Richard Kelly is not involved with the project.
The film starts shooting May 18th.
