Warner Brothers is bringing Sherlock Holmes to theaters on Christmas Day, December 25th.

Two photos from the upcoming “Sherlock Holmes” movie have been released featuring shots of of Rachel McAdams as Irene Adler and Robert Downey Jr. as Holmes.

“Sherlock Holmes” is scheduled for release on November 20, 2009.

Iron Man 2 Set Photos: Robert Downey Jr. Training
Superhero Hype! has posted a cool behind the scenes pictures of Robert Downey Jr. training for a fight scene for “Iron Man 2.”
Scarlett Johansson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Mickey Rourke, Sam Rockwell, Garry Shandling, and John Slattery also star in Jon Favreau-directed sequel.
The film takes place “six months after Stark revealed his identity as Iron Man” at the end of the first movie.
“Iron Man 2″ is scheduled to hit theaters on May 7th, 2010.

On Location News has posted the following photos from the set of “Iron Man 2” in Los Angeles, showing Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark in his Iron Man armor) and Samuel L. Jackson (Agent Nick Fury).

Scarlett Johansson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Mickey Rourke, Sam Rockwell, Garry Shandling, and John Slattery also star in Jon Favreau-directed sequel.
Reports say that Mickey Rourke would play a tattooed Russian heavy named Ivan who becomes a man with deadly, technologically enhanced coils. While another source adds that Rourke would play the Crimson Dynamo.
“He’s considered to be an evil version of Iron Man because he battles the superhero in a nuclear-powered suit of armor.”
Sam Rockwell would play Justin Hammer, a multibillionaire businessman and a rival of industrialist Tony Stark.

Paramount Pictures has released the first production picture from “Iron Man 2.” The photo features star Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark with some Iron Man suits shown in the background.

“Iron Man 2″ takes place “six months after Stark revealed his identity as Iron Man” at the end of the first movie.
Director Jon Favreau talked to the newspaper about the May 7, 2010 release, saying,
“How many superheroes are open about their true identities? We wanted to play with that idea. But it obviously has consequences - in his relationships, on the team. There are a lot of areas we can explore.”
