The new trailer for Summer blockbuster Cowboys & Aliens has revealed.
Blockbuster filmmaker Jon Favreau directs Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford in an event film for summer 2011 that crosses the classic Western with the alien-invasion movie in a blazingly original way: “Cowboys & Aliens.” Joined by an arsenal of top moviemakers—Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci—he brings an all-new action thriller that will take audiences into the Old West, where a lone cowboy leads an uprising against a terror from beyond our world.
‘Clash of the Titans’ Director Boards ‘Now You See Me’
Louis Leterrier has confirmed with The Playlist that he will direct Now You See Me for Summit Entertainment.
Boaz Yakin (Prince of Persia, Remember The Titans) and Ed Ricourt wrote the screenplay while Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Eagle Eye, Star Trek) are producing. Yakin and Bobby Cohen will executive produce.
After gaining an early experience on martial arts based action films like The Transporter and Unleashed, Louis Leterrier walked on top of the water and turned The Incredible Hulk in a moderate hit while his Clash of the Titans remake became a global sensation. Once the film grossed nearly a half billion dollars worldwide, the French filmmaker was informally being considered to follow up with the James Cameron produced Fantastic Voyage remake, which ultimately went to Shawn Levy, but has officially selected Summit Entertainment’s developing crime thriller “Now You See Me.”
Now You See Me involves an FBI squad in a deadly game of cat and mouse on the trail of an amazing team of the world’s greatest illusionists, who do well a series of daring bank heists during their performances and showers the profits on to their audiences while staying one step ahead of the law. They’re like modern day Robin Hoods, except they take from wise people who put their money in banks, and give to rich people who waste their money buying tickets to expensive magic shows.

Orci made a post on the Don Murphy forum saying he and Kurtzman won’t be involved with the third film.
