Great “Surrogates” Posters
Recently we posted a batch of “The Surrogates” movie images. Today Walt Disney Pictures has released several posters for the upcoming Bruce Willis‘ sci-fi film “The Surrogates.” They really look good. As always, click on any of the photos to enlarge.
A science-fiction mystery is set in a future world where people stay at home all day and send out robotic versions of themselves (”the “surrogates” of the title) to do just about everything. Bruce Willis plays a detective tasked with investigating the bizarre serial killings of these synthetic stand-ins.

Synopsis: FBI agents (Bruce Willis and Radha Mitchell) investigate the mysterious murder of a college student linked to the man who helped create a high-tech surrogate phenomenon that allows people to purchase unflawed robotic versions of themselves-fit, good looking remotely controlled machines that ultimately assume their life roles-enabling people to experience life vicariously from the comfort and safety of their own homes. The murder spawns a quest for answers: in a world of masks, who’s real and who can you trust?

Today we have five new posters for sci-fi thriller “Surrogates,” which is based on a graphic novel of the same name stars Bruce Willis, Radha Mitchell and former Bond girl Rosamund Pike. The posters focuses on the surrogates and the fictional company and culture that’s made them so popular.

Disney has been extremely coy about the marketing for the film, with viral websites and publicity events providing the lion’s share of promotion, and now we have a new poster that popped up on ScreenRant that continues that trend.

We earlier posted some photos of Bruce Willis on the set of Jonathan Mostow’s upcoming sci-fi thriller “The Surrogates.”
Today we have the first teaser poster for the movie which is set in a futuristic world where humans live in isolation and interact through surrogate robots, a cop (Bruce Willis) is forced to leave his home for the first time in years in order to investigate the murders of others’ surrogates.
The cast also includes Ving Rhames, Radha Mitchell, Rosamund Pike, Ned Vaughn, James Francis Ginty and Michael O’Toole.
Ving Rhames plays a charismatic cult figure who disdains the use of surrogates and tries to lead an uprising against the “new world order.”
Radha Mitchell plays the professional partner of Willis’ character, a cop that through his surrogate investigates the murders of others’ surrogates and Rosamund Pike stars as his wife.

Rhames, Mitchell, Pike to join Bruce Willis and ‘The Surrogates’
Ving Rhames, Radha Mitchell and Rosamund Pike have joined Bruce Willis in the sci-fi thriller “The Surrogates” for Disney.
Jonathan Mostow is directing the film based on the graphic novel by Robert Venditti and artist Brett Weldele of Top Shelf Comix. Michael Ferris and John Brancato, the writing duo that last teamed with Mostow on “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines”, penned the script.
Ned Vaughn (”Frost/Nixon”) was also previously cast in the film, which is set in the future where humans live risk-free lives through robot surrogates that are eternally young, perfect-looking versions of themselves.
Ving Rhames plays a charismatic cult figure who disdains the use of surrogates and tries to lead an uprising against the “new world order.”
Radha Mitchell plays the professional partner of Willis’ character, a cop that through his surrogate investigates the murders of others’ surrogates.
Rosamund Pike plays his wife.
Production is set to begin in late April on the film, which will be released through Touchstone.
