A teaser trailer, clip and poster for “Buried” starring Ryan Reynolds have been released.
“Buried” synopsis: Paul Conroy (Reynolds) is a U.S. citizen working as a contract driver in Iraq. After a swift and sudden attack on his convoy, he awakens to find himself buried alive inside a coffin with nothing more than a lighter, a cell phone, and little memory of how he ended up there. Faced with limited oxygen and unlimited panic, Paul finds himself in a tension-filled race against time to escape this claustrophobic deathtrap before it’s too late.
Blake Lively Joins Ryan Reynolds In “Green Lantern”
Blake Lively has been cast to play opposite Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan in the upcoming film, “Green Lantern.”
She will be the leading lady in the highly-anticipated DC Comic’s superhero movie which is a Warner Bros. project.
Lively will play Carol Ferris, who runs her father’s aerospace company that hires Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds), a test pilot who later becomes her love interest and the intergalactic policeman known as the Green Lantern.
Deadpool Movie Writers Confirmed
20th Century Fox has hired Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Zombieland) to write the screenplay for its “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” spinoff, “Deadpool.”
Ryan Reynolds, who played the wisecracking mercenary character in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” and is slated to reprise it, has a window in his schedule after wrapping Martin Campbell’s “Green Lantern” this summer. The story is expected to stay true to the mythology of “Deadpool” as Reynolds is a huge fan and protector of the property
Ryan Reynolds Is The Green Lantern
Ryan Reynolds has been chosen over two other finalists, Bradley Cooper and Justin Timberlake, for the role of Hal Jordan in “The Green Lantern” – live-action film based on the DC Comics hero.
Raynolds recently starred in a comic book movie, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” where he played Deadpool. He followed that by starring opposite Sandra Bullock in the romantic comedy “The Proposal.”

Guys over at XMenFilms.net sent us some new hi-res photos from “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” the prequel to the popular Marvel superhero series.
Leading up to the events of “X-Men,” “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” tells the story of Wolverine’s epically violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the ominous Weapon X program. Along the way, Wolverine encounters many mutants, both familiar and new, including surprise appearances by several legends of the X-Men universe.
