Focus Features has released the official trailer for Joe Wright’s teen assassin film Hanna starring Saoirse Ronan, Eric Bana, Cate Blanchett, Jason Flemyng, Tom Hollander, and Olivia Williams.

Synopsis: Hanna (Ronan) is a teenage girl. Uniquely, she has the strength, the stamina, and the smarts of a solider; these come from being raised by her father (Bana), an ex-CIA man, in the wilds of Sweden. Living a life unlike any other teenager, her upbringing and training have been one and the same, all geared to making her the perfect assassin.

Check out the movie trailer for Peter Weir‘s latest film, The Way Back, starring Ed Harris, Colin Farrell, Jim Sturgess and Saoirse Ronan.

The Way Back is the fact-based story of the escape of soldiers from a Siberian gulag in 1940. It is based on several sources, most notably the Slavomir Rawicz book The Long Walk: The True Story of a Trek to Freedom. The book is Rawicz’s account of being captured by the Red Army in 1939 and his journey to freedom with other inmates. The group crossed the Siberian arctic, the Gobi desert and the Himalayas, finally settling in Tibet and India.

Alexis Bledel, best known on the big screen for starring in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and its sequel, as well as Sin City, is joining Danny Trejo, Saoirse Ronan, James Gandolfini and Cody Horn in Geoffrey Fletcher‘s directorial debut, an upcoming tale of teenage hitgirls.

Violet & Daisy will follow a pair of teenage assassins (Ronan and Bledel) who are lured into what is supposed to be just another quick and easy job, only to find complications as the man (Gandolfini) they’re supposed to kill is not what they expected.

But today, we’re here to report that Bruce Willis and Danny Trejo are in talks to join the project as well.

Saoirse RonanAcademy Award winner Geoffrey Fletcher seems to be quite busy man, since he already has new job, although Best Adapted Screenplay victory for Precious is still kind of fresh.

So, Fletcher has secured his first directorial job Violet and Daisy, based on his own original screenplay, and he’s reportedly cast two of the best young actresses in the game, Saoirse Ronan and Carey Mulligan!

So, no big information about this new project, but it’s already being talked up as Thelma and Louise meets Superbad and Pulp Fiction.

Yeah, well, that sounds little bit strange, so no wonder some guys out there think that this looks to good to be true. Anyway, what does it mean?

C’mon, you’re giving us this rumor, so what should we do with it? Imagine what? Two girls looking for revenge, driving around, little bit of violence… what else? We’re trying to imagine Mulligan and Ronan swearing and shooting around, but…

Russell Crowe as Robin Hood

We got our first trailer for Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood last week and now Yahoo! released a new international trailer and it’s better than the first one.

Oscar winner Russell Crowe stars as the titular character, alongside Oscar winner Cate Blanchett (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) as the lovely Maid Marion and co-stars Vanessa Redgrave, William Hurt (The Incredible Hulk, Mr. Brooks), Mark Strong (Kick-Ass, Sherlock Holmes), Kevin Durand, Saoirse Ronan and Scott Grimes.

Crowe plays the expert archer Robin Hood who leads a band of marauders to confront corruption and lead an uprising against the English crown. In an effort to save the village of Nottingham and win the hand of the spirited widow Lady Marion (Blanchett), this hero rises from humble beginnings to become an eternal symbol of freedom for his people.
