Charlie Kaufman has added two big-name actresses to the celebrity market of ambitious, satiric musical Frank or Francis, which he also wrote.
Kate Winslet and Catherine Keener have received Oscar nominations for performing in films written by Kaufman – Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Being John Malkovich. Now they have been added to the already impressive cast of his musical comedy.

Olivia Wilde, Steve Carell and Steve Buscemi are showing off their latest tricks while on the set of Burt Wonderstone after did their homework when they paid a visit to real-life magician David Copperfield’s Vegas Show.
Filming inside a giant perspex box, the funnymen were snapped playing two struggling magicians, while Wilde stood in as their glamorous assistant. Crazy, Stupid, Love star appears as a fading Sin City magician who is overshadowed by a hot new act, while Buscemi, plays his magical sidekick Anton Lovecraft.

Seeking a Friend for the End of the World is an upcoming pre-apocalyptic comedy which stars Steve Carell and Keira Knightly.
Keira Knightly – yeah, you’re reading this correctly. I was a little bit surprised when I saw her name attached to this kind of project. Personally, I think Knightly is capable of handling any movie genre, so I’m definitely excited about the whole thing!
Olivia Wilde in BURT WONDERSTONE?
Still nothing official on this, but if it works out we may soon get a chance to watch Olivia Wilde in a comedy, guys! Not bad, right?
I’m not sure if we previously wrote about this project, but it definitely sounds familiar. Don Scardino will direct a magician comedy titled Burt Wonderstone, and we already have Steve Carell and Jim Carrey on board for the whole thing. Damn right, this sure is familiar!
This project comes from Horrible Bosses scribes John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein with a polish by Jason Reitman, and it centers on a Las Vegas magician who breaks up with his partner and is then upstaged by a hipper magician doing dangerous and crowd-drawing tricks.

Few weeks ago we reported that Tommy Lee Jones is in negotiations to star in the upcoming David Frankel’s drama titled Great Hope Springs.
Today, we’re here to report that Lee Jones is definitely on board to star next to previously reported Meryl Streep and Steve Carell. That’s an awesome cast, indeed, especially now when it’s finally confirmed that Lee Jones and Streep will star as a longtime couple.
As you already know, Great Hope Springs screenplay comes from Vanessa Taylor, and it featured on the prestigious Black List.
It follows a middle-aged couple who after thirty years of marriage attend an intense counseling weekend to examine the intimacy issues that are threatening their marriage.
