Jamie Chung (Dragonball Evolution) and Jena Malone (Donnie Darko) have joined the all-female action cast in Zack Snyder‘s “Sucker Punch.”
Vanessa Hudgens, Emily Browning and Abbie Cornish are also set to star in the film.
Emily Browning Stars In Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch
Emily Browning has replaced Amanda Seyfried in Zack Snyder‘s next movie “Sucker Punch.” Seyfried wasn’t able to take on the role due to a scheduling conflict.
Browning, the Australian actress who can next be seen in horror film “The Uninvited,” will take on the lead role of Baby Doll, an insane asylum inmate who loses herself in a fantasy world where she dreams about escaping with her fellow inmates. So, Snyder likes to call the project “Alice In Wonderland with machine guns“.
“Sucker Punch” is set in 1950′s and follows a girl who is confined to a mental institution by her evil stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. While there, she imagines an alternative reality to hide her from the pain, and in that world, she begins planning her escape, needing to steal five objects to help get her out before she is deflowered by a vile man.
