If you don’t like football, you can always watch the Super Bowl for the ads – we are talking celebrity cameos, premium CGI and, the best part, new movie trailers. On the other side, Taylor Kitsch does boast a background in athletics as he previously played hockey at a high-level before injuring his knee.
However, he will be seen by at home viewers in a commercial break on February 5th for his upcoming Disney epic, John Cartert, which hit theaters on March 9th.
The Best Super Bowl Movie Ads
As you’ve noticed some football was played between the pulps of shiny and expensive commercials. Heaps of movie trailers were surrounded by those commercials. A few presented new footage — Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon, Super 8; the others rearranged previous view — Battle: Los Angeles, Thor; some were comical — Kung Fu Panda; and some were hoping to get a better kind of thought — Cowboys & Aliens, Limitless.
You’ve probably seen a good portion of them as well as advertisements. Among a lot, VW is a clear winner, Doritos has one good commercial, and Pepsi Max needs to get a new agency.

Just Go With It Super Bowl TV Spot
Columbia Pictures has released a brand new TV spot for the upcoming romantic comedy Just Go With It which aired during the programe of the Super Bowl yesterday.
Synopsis: Danny (Adam Sandler) is a successful plastic surgeon who pretends to be unhappily married to get women. When he finally meets a girl (Brooklyn Decker) he believes to be the woman of his dreams, he doesn’t use his method on her, but she soon finds the wedding band he uses. Afraid of telling her the truth, he tells her he’s getting a divorce, to which she requests to meet his soon-to-be ex. He asks his office manager Katherine (Jennifer Aniston) to pose as his wife in order to prove his story, but one lie turns into another that brings Katherine’s children into his scheme, resulting in a trip to Hawaii that will change all their lives.
Priest Super Bowl TV Spot
An all-new TV spot for 3D vampire film Priest debuted during Super Bowl XLV.
Priest, a post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller, is set in an alternate world — one ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires. The story revolves around a legendary Warrior Priest from the last Vampire War who now lives in obscurity among the other downtrodden human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities ruled by the Church.
When his niece is abducted by a murderous pack of vampires, Priest breaks his sacred vows to venture out on a quest to find her before they turn her into one of them. He is joined on his crusade by his niece’s boyfriend, a trigger-fingered young wasteland sheriff, and a former Warrior Priestess who possesses otherworldly fighting skills.
Battle: Los Angeles Super Bowl TV Spot
Sony Pictures released another new Super Bowl XLV TV spot for the upcoming film Battle: Los Angeles by director Jonathan Liebesman (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, Darkness Falls) and starring Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez, Neil Brown Jr., Ramon Rodriguez, Bridget Moynahan, Noel Fisher, Ne-Yo, Lucas Till, Joey King, and Michael Pena.
Synopsis: For years, there have been documented cases of UFO sightings around the world – Buenos Aires, Seoul, France, Germany, China. But in 2011, what were once just sightings will become a terrifying reality when Earth is attacked by unknown forces. As people everywhere watch the world’s great cities fall, Los Angeles becomes the last stand for mankind in a battle no one expected. It’s up to a Marine staff sergeant (Eckhart) and his new platoon to draw a line in the sand as they take on an enemy unlike any they’ve ever encountered before.

Marvel aired their TV spot for the upcoming action adventure movie Thor during the Super Bowl XLV.
The epic adventure Thor spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.
Fast Five Super Bowl TV Spot
Universal Pictures has just released their 30-second Super Bowl XLV TV spot for Fast Five (Fast and Furious 5), the latest instalment in the Fast and the Furious franchise.
Synopsis: Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead a reunion of returning all-stars from every chapter of the explosive franchise built on speed in “Fast Five.” In this installment, former cop Brian O’Conner (Walker) partners with ex-con Dom Toretto (Diesel) on the opposite side of the law. Dwayne Johnson joins returning favorites Jordana Brewster, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Matt Schulze, Tego Calderon and Don Omar for this ultimate high-stakes race.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon Super Bowl TV Spot
Paramount Pictures just aired a TV spot for Michael Bay’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon, during the Super Bowl XLV.
Synopsis: The Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There’s new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime “Transformers” character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.
