New Dragon (Wu Xia) Trailer
Today we have for your a new trailer for Peter Chan and Donnie Yen co-directed martial arts, film noir epic Dragon (Wu Xia).
The film played Out Of Competition at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, and despite having a few glaring flaws, it is definitely a film to keep an eye on.
Martial Arts Film ‘Dragon’ (Wu Xia) Gets US Distribution
The Weinstein Company (TWC) announced today that it has acquired from WE Distribution the distribution rights for the world, outside of Asia and French speaking Europe, to the martial arts, film noir epic DRAGON (WU XIA). TF1 are already confirmed to distribute the film in France. The film will have its world premiere as part of the official selection at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. A 2011 theatrical release is expected in the US.

New trailer and posters for war epic “The Warlords” starring Jet Li have been released.
“The Warlords” synopsis: Set in the midst of war and political upheaval during the Taiping Rebellion of the 1860s, WARLORDS stars Jet Li as General Pang, who barely survives a brutal massacre of his fellow soldiers by playing dead, and joins a band of bandits led by Er Hu (Andy Lau) and Wu Yang (Takeshi Kaneshiro). After fighting back attackers from an helpless village, the three men take an oath to become “blood brothers,” pledging loyalty to one another until death, but things quickly turn sour and the three men become embroiled in a web of political deceit, and a love triangle between Pang, Er Hu and a beautiful courtesan (Wu Jing-Lei).

The trailer for the upcoming John Woo’s “Red Cliff” has appeared online.
Red Cliff Synopsis: “Legendary action cinema master John Woo (Broken Arrow, Face/Off, Mission: Impossible II, Paycheck) and international superstar Tony Leung reunite for the first time since the 1992 classic “Hard Boiled” with this epic historical drama set based on a legendary 208 A.D. battle that heralded the end of the Han Dynasty. “Red Cliff” opens with power hungry Prime Minister-turned-General Cao Cao (Zhang Fengyi) seeking permission from the Han dynasty Emperor to organize a southward-bound mission designed to crush two troublesome warlords that stand in his way, Liu Bei (You Yong) and Sun Quan (Chang Chen).

Here’s the new trailer for the of John Woo‘s massive war epic film, “Red Clif 2.”
In 208 A.D., in the final days of the Han Dynasty, shrewd Prime Minster Cao convinced the fickle Emperor Han the only way to unite all of China was to declare war on the kingdoms of Xu in the west and East Wu in the south. Thus began a military campaign of unprecedented scale, led by the Prime Minister, himself. Left with no other hope for survival, the kingdoms of Xu and East Wu formed an unlikely alliance. Numerous battles of strength and wit ensued, both on land and on water, eventually culminating in the battle of Red Cliff. During the battle, two thousand ships were burned, and the course of Chinese history was changed forever.
