New Terminator 4 Concept Art
iO9 has posted a few Martin Laing’s concept art images from the new McG “Terminator Salvation” (Terminator 4) movie, which is set for release on May 22, 2009.
The leaked featurette for Terminator Salvation mentioned that new film takes place before Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character goes into the past in James Cameron’s “Terminator.” Thus we see an older model of Arnold’s T-800, which is the T-600. We also get a look at the Harvester, a robot that is by far the largest that we have seen.
Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Arnold Schwarzenegger Spotted on the “Terminator Salvation” Set
Courtesy of Latino Review, a picture has surfaced from the set of McG’s “Terminator Salvation“, which shows Arnold Schwarzenegger (original T-800) on the set chatting with Christian Bale.
Source claims that Arnold was on set providing dialogue for the effects crew to work with, in order to seamlessly impose Schwarzenegger’s face into the film and onto Roland Kickinger’s torso.

“Terminator Salvation” New Photo!
Here are the latest photo for the upcoming fourth installment of “The Terminator” - “Terminator Salvation” showing Christian Bale and Sam Worthington face-to-face. In addition, director McG has recently revealed at San Diego Comic-Con last weekend that the new movie will definitely be R-rated.
In the highly anticipated new instalment of ‘Terminator’ film franchise, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. “Terminator Salvation” Site Launched
Sony has launched the website for McG’s Terminator follow-up, “Terminator Salvation.” At this point, the site only shows first teaser trailer that we are used to. Stay tuned.

Roland Kickinger: The New Face of Terminator
A former body builder and Mr Universe winner from Austria Roland Kickinger has been cast as the new Terminator in the upcoming film “Terminator Salvation“.Canadian paper the Clinton News-Record interviewed Kickinger, who confirmed that he would play the T-800 in the new blockbuster.
Kickinger said of the role:
“It’s Arnold’s character in the first Terminator. That’s basically my role, but 20 years before, so it establishes how the Terminator [came] about,” said Kickinger, further explaining: “There’s a very strong scene in the film where John Connor for the first time meets the Terminator, and he doesn’t know if he’s a good guy or a bad guy.”
The paper says that Kickinger emigrated from Austria to the US 13 years ago and has already starred in the spoof “Baywatch” series “Son of a Beach” and also played Schwarzenegger in the TV biopic “See Arnold Run”.
“Terminator Salvation” opens in cinemas on 22 May 2009.
