Princess and the Frog

Walt Disney Pictures has released two new posters for the upcoming “The Princess And The Frog,” showing the main characters from the movie.

“The Princess and the Frog” is set in the great city of New Orleans. That’s the story about a beautiful girl named Tiana (Anika Noni Rose), a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again, and a fateful kiss that leads them both on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana.

The movie also stars Bruno Campos, John Goodman, Peter Bartlett, Keith David, Jim Cummings, Jenifer Lewis, Jennifer Cody, Michael-Leon Wooley, Terrence Howard and Oprah Winfrey.

First Five Minutes of “The Princess and the Frog”

Walt Disney Pictures has released the first five minutes from the company’s upcoming animation feature  “The Princess and The Frog.”

The film marks a return to hand-drawn animation for the studio and is an adaptation of E.D. Baker’s novel, The Frog Princess.

“The Princess and the Frog” is set in the great city of New Orleans. It follows free-spirited, jazz-loving Prince Naveen of Maldonia turned into a frog by a shady voodoo doctor. In his desperate attempt to be human again, he asks a kiss from a young African-American girl named Tiana. But, instead of finding himself becoming a human again, he learns that Tiana has also been turned into a frog.

Oprah Winfrey Joins Princess and the Frog

Oprah Winfrey has joined the voice cast of the upcoming Disney animated film “The Princess and the Frog.”

Disney’s John Lasseter, the chief creative office at Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios, had some big announcements in store for the crowd including one about their upcoming animated film “The Princess and the Frog.”

The new movie is a musical set in New Orleans, the legendary birthplace of jazz. Audiences will be introduced to the newest Disney princess, Tiana, a young African-American girl living amid the charming elegance and grandeur of the fabled French Quarter. The Princess and the Frog

Disney has unveiled teaser trailer for their upcoming hand-animated feature “The Princess and the Frog“. Not only does the animation look fantastic yet again, but the song is incredibly catchy too.

Teaser trailer for “The Princess and the Frog” is notable for two reasons: 1. It’s the first black princess in the history of Disney, and 2. It’s a hand-drawn animated film, the first from Disney in over four years.

The film is co-directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, whom previously worked together to bring us the Disney classics Aladdin, Hercules, and Treasure Planet. The script for the film was also written by Clements and Musker as well as other Disney regulars.
