ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER Trailer Online!
Earlier we posted first footage from the upcoming Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and now we have a brand trailer. Directed by Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted), the film follows Lincoln (Benjamin Walker) as he looks to navigate the country through a Civil War, where vampires in the South look to defeat the North, thus enslaving all of human existence.

Today we have the first footage clip from Timur Bekmambetov-directed supernatural horror film Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter due out in theaters on June 22nd, at the Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield, Illinois. The footage was shown during an interview with the film’s star Benjamin Walker on CBS.

Six new photos have been released from Timur Bekmambetov-directed film Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Based on author-screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith’s (Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, the upcoming Dark Shadows) book, the film mixes historical fact with a (fictional?) back-story that follows Lincoln (Benjamin Walker) as an ax-wielding vampire slayer whose own mother was was murdered by vampires.

As you already know, we’re dealing with a supernatural thriller in here and director Timur Bekmambetov is in charge for the movie which is based on the book by Seth Grahame-Smith.

We have the third poster for the upcoming film adaptation of the best-selling horror mashup, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, in which Benjamin Walker’s titular badass sits where his statue traditionally rests, clutching an axe and staring down the camera. The story focuses on the president who, after having his mother murdered by the monsters, is on a quest to rid the world of the evil vampires.

We could call this an action image, but if you ask me – I don’t care if it’s a supernatural horror thriller, or whatever – I will just wait for the official trailer to make some judgement.

Let’s talk a bit about film industry in the BRIC countries. More precisely, it is one of the first partnerships of its kind; Russian-Chinese collaboration on a new version of the 2010 Russian hit comedy Yolki.
Therefore, Timur Bekmambetov and Eva Jin are the first two directors among several filmmakers who will direct segments of the Six Degrees of Celebration, the switch to Chinese New Year that will be framed around that date on February 10th, 2013.

Sweeney was my first thought when I saw these posters for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter which doesn’t necessarily mean I don’t like them, on the contrary.
