Timur Bermambetov’s Black Lightning Trailer
Today we got Russian premiere of trailer for Timur Bekmambetov produced “Black Lightning” (Чёрная Молния)
Plot summary: One day workers on construction site for skyscrapers in Moscow discover Soviet underground bunker and old rusty Volga in it. One worker give it as a present to his son, an ordinary student of Moscow State University. Later he discovers that his rusty car is able to fly. He will be able to not only avoid trafficjams, but he unexpectedly finds himself the city’s defender, mysterious fighter against evil.
“9″ Extended Featurette And New Clips
Fans will have just two weeks to catch “9” movie, directed by Shane Acker and co-written with Pamela Pettler. So, until then you can watch the extended featurette for the movie which shows never before seen footage, interviews with cast and crew and brand new clips from “9.”
The upcoming animated adventure / fantasy / Sci-Fi is based on Acker’s Academy Award-nominated 2005 short “9,″ a post-apocalyptic nightmare in which all of humanity is threatened.
Directors Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov are among the feature version’s producers.

An action-packed adventure, director Shane Acker’s animated fantasy epic “9″ is the feature-length expansion of his Academy Award-nominated 2004 short film of the same name. The screenplay for the feature is by Pamela Pettler and directors Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov are among the feature version’s producers.
The time is the too-near future. Powered and enabled by the invention known as the Great Machine, the world’s machines have turned on mankind and sparked social unrest, decimating the human population before being largely shut down. But as our world fell to pieces, a mission began to salvage the legacy of civilization; a group of small creations was given the spark of life by a scientist in the final days of humanity, and they continue to exist postapocalypse.
When 9 (Elijah Wood) first comes to life, he finds himself in a post-apocalyptic world. All humans are gone, and it is only by chance that he discovers a small community of others
like him.

A few weeks ago we posted a five-minute clip from Shane Acker’s “9.” Today we have a brand new clip from this animated sci-fi adventure produced by Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov.
All humans are gone, and it is only by chance that 9 discovers a small community of others like him taking refuge from fearsome machines that roam the earth intent on their extinction. Despite being the neophyte of the group, 9 convinces the others that hiding will do them no good. They must take the offensive if they are to survive, and they must discover why the machines want to destroy them in the first place. As they’ll soon come to learn, the very future of civilization may depend on them.
The group of 9 rag dolls includes “1″ (voiced by Christopher Plummer), a domineering war veteran, “2″ (Martin Landau), an aged inventor, “3 & 4″ – twins – strange dolls, unable to speak, curious but very shy, “5″ (John C. Reilly), healer, mentor, great engineer and inventor, “6″ (Crispin Glover), a wild and impulsive visionary and artist, “7″ (Jennifer Connelly) a group’s sole female, a brave and self-sufficient warrior and “9″ (Elijah Wood) good-hearted, thoughtful, and sincere. He will easily risk his own life to save others.
