Prince of Persia Super Bowl TV Spot
Today we have the Super Bowl XLIV TV spot for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, which is directed by Mike Newell (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire).
In the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced video game adaptation, a rogue prince (Gyllenhaal) reluctantly joins forces with a mysterious princess (Arterton) and together, they race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time—a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.
The fantasy-action-adventure stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Kingsley, Gemma Arterton, Alfred Molina and Toby Kebbell.
Prince of Persia Footage and On-Set Video
Walt Disney debuted a brand new footage from Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time during the Spike TV Video Game Awards.
Also, take a peek behind the scenes of “Prince of Persia.” Much of the film was shot in the baking Moroccan desert and in London, and Jake Gyllenhaal trained for months to build and maintain his action-hero physique.

Yesterday, the domestic trailer for “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” was released and now we have another one. This one is an international and shows more footage from the film.

Yesterday we got out posters of Jake Gyllenhaal (Prince Dastan) and Gemma Arterton (Tamina) in the upcoming Disney production of “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.” Now have the first shot of Ben Kingsley as the villain, Nizam.
Nizam wants to rule the world with the help of the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.
First PRINCE OF PERSIA Posters: Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton
Walt Disney has debuted first posters for upcoming video game adaptation “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time,” featuring shots of Jake Gyllenhaal (The Day After Tomorrow) and Gemma Arterton (Quantum of Solace).
In the fantasy adventure based on Ubisoft’s popular video game, Gyllenhaal will play Dastan, a young prince in sixth century Persia who must join forces with Tamina (Arterton), a feisty and exotic princess, to prevent a villainous nobleman from possessing the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.
First Official “Prince of Persia” Photo
We posted earlier some photos of Jake Gyllenhaal for the upcoming Walt Disney Pictures’ flick “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” but today we have the first official photo from the movie which is based on the popular video game. In the film, Jake Gyllenhaal will play Dastan, a young Prince who teams with an exotic princess named Tamina (Gemma Arterton) on a mission to stop “a villainous nobleman from possessing the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.” Ben Kingsley will play the villain Nizam, who plots to kill his brother King Shahrman and blame it on Prince Dastan so he can take the throne.

BAFTA Unveiled Rising Star Nominees
The Rising Star nominees were unveiled at BAFTA’s London headquarters on Thursday.
The nominees are Michael Fassbender, Rebecca Hall, Michael Cera, Noel Clarke and Toby Kebbell.
A jury, led by producer and chair of BAFTA, David Parfitt, and industry figures including casting director Fiona Weir, and actors James McAvoy and Kelly Macdonald, selected the five nominees from a long list of recommendations put forward by the film industry and BAFTA members. The Rising Star nominees must have featured in a film that has been entered for this year’s British Academy Film Awards.
