4 New Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Posters
Warner Bros. has released four new posters for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Synopsis:
Harry, Ron and Hermione set out on their perilous mission to track down and destroy the secret to Voldemort’s immortality and destruction — the Horcruxes. On their own, without the guidance of their professors or the protection of Professor Dumbledore, the three friends must now rely on one another more than ever. But there are Dark Forces in their midst that threaten to tear them apart. Meanwhile, the wizarding world has become a dangerous place for all enemies of the Dark Lord.
David Oyelowo and Tom Felton Join Rise of the Apes
Rise of the Apes or Caesar: Rise of the Apes (probably a new title of the movie) update!
David Oyelowo, probably best known from titles like The Last King of Scotland, As You Like It, Who Do You Love and Derailed has been offered the role of Steve Jacobs in the upcoming Rupert Wyatt‘s Planet of the Apes prequel.
Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter series) will also join the cast.
The actors will join cast that already includes James Franco (as a scientist who becomes a crucial figure in the war between humans and apes), Frieda Pinto (as a primatologist who helps Franco), John Lithgow (Franco’s father), Andy Serkis (as Caesar, the chimp who leads the simian revolt) and previously reported Brian Cox (as the villainous owner of a primate sanctuary). Felton will play the son of Cox’s character.
Movie is “an origin story in the truest sense of the term. Set in present day San Francisco, the film is a reality-based cautionary tale, a science fiction/science fact blend, where man’s own experiments with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.”
Brand New “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” Clip
There is less than one week left to the premier of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” and MSN has just released a new, exclusive clip that that features Daniel Radcliffe and David Thewlis.
The clip, titled “Handful of People” shows a discussion taking place between Remus and Harry about the trust they have in Dumbledore, and whether they believe his decision is the right one.
Two “Harry Potter 6″ HBO “First Look” Clips!
With “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” theatrical release fast approaching, HBO has aired its “First Look” in two parts. It’s feature never before seen footage and tons of behind the scenes cast interviews and filmmaker discussion of just what it took to make what will almost certainly be the most ambitious entry in the franchise yet.
“Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” will center its story at the time when Voldemort’s grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds is tightening. With Hogwarts no longer being the safe haven it once was, Dumbledore begins to prepare Harry for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Bringing in his old friend and colleague Professor Horace Slughorn, Dumbledore works together with Harry to unlock Voldemort’s defenses.
