The cult classic Black Wings Has My Angel by newspaperman Elliot Chaze, ‘less about plot than the completely convincing characterizations’ has actually been developing since around 2007.

Finally, Cargo Entertainment has taken on the long-gestating film and two new stars have joined Elijah Wood, who had previously (a couple of years before) signed on to play protagonist Tim Sunblade, an ex-con who picks up a high class call girl to pull off an armored car heist.

Tilda Swinton, John Hurt Join Jim Jarmusch’s ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE

John Hurt and Tilda Swinton coming straight from Bong Joon-Ho’s Snow Piercer to join Mia Wasikowska of Albert Nobbs and War Horse actor Tom Hiddleston in the latest film from indie legend Jim Jarmusch, which now has an official title Only Lovers Left Alive.

Hiddleston has joined the cast of the director’s upcoming vampire tale, replacing Michael Fassbender, which involvement was announced during Cannes last year.

Robert Rodat who is currently working on a screenplay for Warcraft, the big-screen adaptation of the Blizzard Entertainment’s franchise, based on a World of Warcraft storyline is going to have his hands full!

Best known for Saving Private Ryan, Rodat has been tapped to do rewrites on the screenplay for Thor 2, follow up to the classic Marvel comic book based film after the initial script was penned by Don Payne.
