New Ong Bak 3 Poster
New poster for the upcoming martial arts prequel-sequel Ong Bak 3, featuring martial arts legend Tony Jaa, has hit the web.
The legend of Ong Bak 3 begins after Tien (Tony Jaa) has lost his fighting skills and his beloved step-father at the Garuda’s Wing cliff from the raid led by Jom Rachan (Saranyu Wonggrajang). Tien is brought back to life with the help from Pim (Primrata Dechudom) as well as Mhen (Petchai Wongkamlao) and the Kana Khone villagers. Deep into the meditation taught by Phra Bua (Nirutti Sirijanya), Tien finally is able to achieve ‘Nathayut’. His talents are put to the test again when his rivals including the Golden-Armored King’s Guard (Supakorn ‘Tok’ Kijusuwan), the mysterious killers in black, and Bhuti Sangkha (Dan Chupong) return for the final massive showdown.

“Ong Bak 2” has no actual connection with the first “Ong Bak” besides Tony Jaa’s involvement. The movie is directed by Thai martial artist Tony Jaa himself as his first feature film.
The script was written by stunt coordinator and filmmaker Panna Rittikrai who previously wrote the screenplay for “Ong Bak” and “Born to Fight”.
Ong Bak 2: The Beginning Trailer
Magnet and Apple has just released the new teaser trailer for Tony Jaa‘s “Ong Bak 2: The Beginning.”
Plot: Set in the regal times of King Naresuan, Tien (Tony Jaa) is a man who was born into nobility but had it stripped from him after his parents were brutally murdered. During his childhood Tien learned Khon, a form of dance which is usually reserved for royalty. Although he didn’t know it yet, Khon would later prove to be an invaluable aide to him. After seeing his parents murdered at the tender age of 10, Tien is forced to live on the streets where he is eventually captured by a group of thieves who take him in and teach him how to steal and fight.

Plot summary: Thailand, the fifteenth century. Prisoner of slave traders who are getting rid of it by delivering to the crocodiles, the young Tien is saved by the mysterious Chernang Commander Garuda bandits. Under his wing, the child will soon learn to master a multitude of martial arts techniques of warfare and handling of many weapons.

Three new posters for the upcoming Tony Jaa‘s “Ong Bak 2” have been released. The third poster includes the shot of new character played by Dan Chupong (poster #3).
A young man in the Ayutthaya period grows up among villagers who preserve the legacy of the traditional khon masked dance. He becomes an outcast when he finds that his firm limbs weren’t made to pursue the specialty of his ancestors, but with the advice of a mysterious guru he’s able to develop a new style of fighting which mixes the strength of martial arts with the regal elegance of khon dance. Then he’s ready to go out and fight the enemy.
