Channing Tatum in The Son of No One

This week is full of some good trailers, I’m sure you all agree with that?

One of the movies that I’m interested in is The Son of No One, simply because it’s one of those projects where you have a chance to see Channing Tatum trying to act cool while Al Pacino just mumbles something and we’re all like – oh, look, Pacino is in this movie, I can’t wait to see it!

Still, I think we should give Tatum a chance. After all, he’s playing a young cop here, we should all support him.

By Fiona | Mar 2, 2011 | Movie News (0) Comment

Jesse Eisenberg, Melissa Leo, Tracy Morgan

They are still in our fresh memory. Melissa Leo won an Oscar, (and you can find her now all over the internet if you just write the “f” word with her name), Jesse Eisenberg didn’t, but that doesn’t matter, because they are now on board to star in an indie comedy titled Predisposed.

This project will be directed by Oscar nominated scribe/co-writer Ron Nyswaner (Philadelphia), and for more details check out the rest of this report.

Thanks to Vulture we know that Predisposed is “a macabre look at the unhealthy relationship between a drug-addicted mother (Leo) and her college-bound son (Eisenberg), set on the day of both his interview at Julliard and her planned arrival in rehab.

Cop Out Review

Cop Out Wallpaper, Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan

Starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan as long-time NYPD partners ostensibly tracking down a baseball card, Cop Out was conceived as a parody of buddy-cop flicks such as “48 Hrs” and “Lethal Weapon.”

Cop Out affects such a generic, mid-80s feel that you keep waiting for the wink.
You keep watching, expecting that, at any moment, director Kevin Smith is going to tip his hand – to spoof the genre, send it up, make fun of it.
