Leatherheads Movie Trailer
Universal has released the movie trailer for Leatherheads, a romantic comedy set in the world of 1920s football. The story follows the owner of a professional team who drafts a straight-laced college sensation in an attempt to legitimatize the sport, only to watch his new coach fall for his fiancée. Directed and starring George Clooney, co-starring John Krasinski, Renée Zellweger, and Stephen Root.
Seems a little zany to me, but I keep telling myself that this is the same guy who directed Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and Good Night and Good Luck. Click on picture and watch the trailer. What you you guys think?
What happens when a small town in Oregon hires B Movie legend Bruce Campbell to fight a real monster attacking their town? Find out in Dark Horse Entertainment’s My Name is Bruce. Great concept for a movie, not too sure about the execution, but I do want to see it.
My Name Is Bruce is expected to hit theaters and DVD in mid-2008.
‘Valkyrie’ – Drama Based on Actual Events
Superstar Tom Cruise heads an international cast as Col. Claus von Stauffenberg, the aristocratic German officer who led the heroic attempt to bring down the Nazi regime and end the war by planting a bomb in Hitler’s bunker. The “July 20 Plot” on Hitler’s life is one of the most heroic but least known episodes of World War Two. Severely wounded in combat, Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg returns from Africa to join the German Resistance and help create Operation Valkyrie, the complex plan that will allow a shadow government to replace Hitler’s once he is dead. But fate and circumstance conspire to thrust Stauffenberg from one of many in the plot to a double-edged central role. Not only must he lead the coup and seize control of his nation’s government… He must kill Hitler himself.
