Michael Sheen joins “Unthinkable” and “Alice in Wonderland”

British actor Michael Sheen (The Deal, The Queen, Underworld trilogy) is set to be a very busy actor with a role in the upcoming thriller “Unthinkable” with Samuel L. Jackson and Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland,” reports Variety.

Unthinkable, directed by Gregor Jordan, looks at the ethics of torture after a terrorist threatening to detonate nuclear devices in the U.S. is questioned by a black-ops interrogator and an FBI agent (Carrie-Ann Moss). The film starts shooting this month.

Sheen will also have a role in “Alice in Wonderland,” in which Johnny Depp is playing the Mad Hatter, Mia Wasikowska -Alice and Matt Lucas – Tweedledum and Tweedledee.

“Alice in Wonderland” is currently in pre-production and slated for a March 5, 2010 release.

Sheen can next be seen as David Frost in Ron Howard’s BFI London Film Festival-opener “Frost/Nixon.”
