Dan Aykroyd Joined the Cast of Warner Bros’ DOG FIGHT
Last month Aussie thesp Josh Lawson has been cast in Warner Bros’ Dog Fight, the Jay Roach-directed comedy that stars Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis, and now comes word that Canadian comedian and actor Dan Aykroyd is going to brush up on his Southern accent.
Funnyman Aykroyd is the third Saturday Night Live member along Ferrell and Jason Sudeikis to join the cast of the film about two rival South Carolina politicians (Ferrell and Galifianakis) running for a congressional seat in a small district election.

Magnet Releasing has debuted a new green-band trailer and six high resolution photos from the upcoming comedy film Tim & Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie, written and directed by Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim, creators of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!. The film stars both Heidecker and Wareheim.
Supporting actors include Zach Galifianakis, Will Ferrell, Jeff Goldblum, John C. Reilly, Erica Durance, and Will Forte, many of whom guest-starred on Awesome Show.

The second trailer and poster have been released for Will Ferrell’s upcoming Spanish-language movie Casa De Mi Padre (eng. House of My Father).
The film has been described to be in the style of an “overly dramatic telenovela”. Farrell ventures into new ground alongside Mexican heartthrobs Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal.

Will Ferrell’s CASA DE MI PADRE Release Date, Trailer and Poster
Pantelion Films announced today that it has acquired the U.S. rights to the highly-anticipated NALA Films and Gary Sanchez Productions produced comedy Casa De Mi Padre, directed by Matt Piedmont and starring Will Ferrell. Pantelion Films plans to release Casa De Mi Padre, which was fully-financed by NALA Films, stateside on March 16, 2012. The Spanish-language film, which pays homage to classic westerns and telenovelas, will be Pantelion Film’s widest release to date. The domestic deal was announced today by Paul Presburger, CEO of Pantelion Films.
