Will Smith Wants Bollywood Film

Will Smith Wants Bollywood FilmThe “Hancock” star Will Smith – who has made his name by landing lead roles in a series of big blockbuster action movies – thinks it is time to try his hand at a different genre.

After a visit to Agra with his son to see the Taj Mahal on Tuesday, Hollywood superstar Will Smith spent the next day catching up with Bollywood personalities.

He said:

“I’ve made a couple of speculative deals in India. We’ve got some Bolly-Will movies going on!”

There is a little bad news though. Will dismissed claims he is planning to make a follow-up to his hit movies “Bad Boys” and “Bad Boys 2“.

He added to T4 Sunday presenter Steve Jones:

“I probably won’t do that. There have been pitches, and the concept is genius for ‘Bad Boys 3’ but I’ve moved on now.”

It was recently reported Will had begged director Michael Bay to let him reprise his role for a third time because his son is such a big fan of the movies.

Will and Martin Lawrence starred in the first film in 1995, with the sequel being released eight years later.

 Hancock

Take a look at the new official movie stills from the upcoming fantasy film “Hancock” by director Peter Berg and starring Will Smith, Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman.

With great power comes great responsibility – everyone knows that – everyone, that is, but Hancock. Edgy, conflicted, sarcastic, and misunderstood, Hancock’s well-intentioned heroics might get the job done and save countless lives, but always seem to leave jaw-dropping damage in their wake.

The public has finally had enough - as grateful as they are to have their local hero, the good citizens of Los Angeles are wondering what they ever did to deserve this guy. Hancock isn’t the kind of man who cares what other people think - until the day that he saves the life of PR executive Ray Embrey (Jason Bateman), and the sardonic superhero begins to realize that he may have a vulnerable side after all. Facing that will be Hancock’s greatest challenge yet - and a task that may prove impossible as Ray’s wife, Mary (Charlize Theron), insists that he’s a lost cause.

Will Smith Wants To Make “Bad Boys 3″

Will Smith is keen to make a second Bad Boys sequel. So much so that he grabbed Michael Bay before he stepped up onstage to collect the Best Male Performance award for his movie I Am Legend he told Bay:

“We need ‘Bad Boys 3.’ I was just watching ‘Bad Boys 2′ with my son and I told him you can’t open a movie better. That’s the best movie opening ever!”

Bay teamed Will Smith and Martin Lawrence for the first time in 1995 and then again in 2003.

MTV sat down with Bay last February and asked him about it:

  • MTV: How about another “Bad Boys” installment?
  • Bay: I don’t know. Will Smith’s people called. They’re fun to work with, those guys.
  • MTV: Was that a recent call?
  • Bay: I actually heard it through [Jerry] Bruckheimer.
  • MTV: And you’d be open to it?
  • Bay: Yeah, they’re great fun.

‘Hancock’ did reshoots on Saturday night

‘Hancock’ did reshoots on Saturday night

Hancock”, which costs untold millions to make, did reshoots on Saturday night in Times Square, something for 12-hours with the star of the movie present and in character.

Studio and the cast/crew probably want to fix some stuff. Perhaps to added to, like it was for ending for “I am Legend”? I doubt it.

The film has been to the MPAA twice in the last month to receive a rating and both times it was given an “R.”

One of the things they had to “tone down” from the original script was a scene where Hancock gets drunk with a 12 year old. That was changed to a 17 year old.

The goal of course, is to keep cutting away slivers of scenes until they can get it just under the bar and achieve a PG-13. Maybe?
