Another 3D movie is coming, and this time we’re here to have a little chat about DreamWorks Animation’s 3D film titled Rise of the Guardians, based on William Joyce‘s upcoming children’s book series The Guardians of Childhood.

Here’s the Rise of the Guardians synopsis:
“When an evil spirit called Pitch becomes bent upon taking over the world by inspiring fear in the hearts of kids everywhere, a group of our greatest heroes – Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, the Sandman and Jack Frost – band together for the first time, determined to stand in Pitch’s way.

Leonardo DiCaprio has signed up for his first animated movie DreamWorks’ “The Guardians.”
DiCaprio will voice Jack Frost in the Peter Ramsey-directed project.
David Lindsay-Abaire will adapt the script from William Joyce‘s (Shrek) highly anticipated yet-to-be published books “The Guardians Of Childhood”
The plot centres on an evil spirit called Pitch, who wants to inspire fear in the hearts of kids around the world. Jack Frost (DiCaprio), Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy and the Sandman join together to bring down the villainous spirit and protect the world.
