Walter Skinner’s Depicter Back for ‘X Files 2′ Sequel
Though keeping much information as secrets, reports from the upcoming sequel of sci-fi film “The X Files 2″ that is yet to be titled “Untitled The X Files Sequel” often revealed key details of the movie as now it was said that Mitch Pileggi has been signed in. According to X-Files News, the 55-year-old actor will be reprising his renowned character Walter Skinner in the sequel.Pileggi used to portray FBI assistant director character in the science fiction television series created by Chris Carter. As Skinner, he becomes a former Marine and Vietnam veteran who directly supervises the two leading FBI agents, Dana Scully and Fox Mulder. The outing of Pileggi’s coming back was revealed by the filming schedule and casting sheets retrieved by the X-Files News.
The sequel to the 1998 feature film version will once again feature the two leading theps, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson as Agent Mulder and Agent Scully respectively. It was reported that the 20th Century Fox planned to release the film in the theaters on July 25. Meanwhile, the film is currently being shot in Vancouver and Pemberton in British Columbia, Canada.
X-Files 2 Set Shots Leaked!
A number of you yawned at the pictures Fox released for X-Files 2 last week — but something tells us you’ll have a very different reaction to the latest behind-the-scenes stills.
The shots are decidedly spoilerish, so we won’t be posting them here — and they weren’t sanctioned by the studio, so don’t count on them being up for long — but a JoBlo source being referred to as “CSM” wandered by the sequel’s Vancouver set, zoom lens in hand, and managed to snap a few…interesting…shots.
