Well, things are getting serious with The Morningside Monster movie. We’ve just learned that Amber Chaney (remember her from The Walking Dead) and Nicholas Brendon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer is probably the first association) have both joined the cast of Chris Ethridge‘s upcoming horror thriller. They will join the cast which already includes Robert Pralgo, Tiffany Shepis and Catherine Taber.
Ethridge directs the movie from a script written by Jayson Palmer, which centers on Sheriff Tom Haulk and his deputy Klara Austin, who will have to deal with one dangerous serial killer. The whole thing starts when a brutally murdered corpse appears in the woods of the otherwise-peaceful small town of Morningside, NJ.
Racing against time, Sheriff and his deputy, embark on a desperate journey to catch the killer, pitting them against friends, enemies and even each other. B
As for the above mentioned cast, Brendon is set to play character named Mark Matthews, the history teacher at the local high school. Chaney on the other hand, will pplay his wife Abby, a town fixture known for her strength in the face of adversity.
Production on The Morningside Monster will start later this month in Atlanta and Lawrenceville, GA.
