Watch: James Bond Escorts the Queen to the 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony and New SKYFALL Spot

James_Bond_OG_Scene Well, if you happened to miss it the BBC have literally shared the clip on You Tube in which James Bond (Daniel Craig) escorted Her Majesty the Queen (Queen Elizabeth) to the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympics in London. Making a cameo appearance together in a short film beamed to 60,000 cheering spectators in the main stadium and a billion more viewers around the world, Craig escorted Her Majesty safely to the games. Danny Boyle, the director of Slumdog Millionaire, was hired to direct Craig in a short where the world’s most famous agent ‘gets a special assignment to kick-off the activities’. We get a little bit of humor and, thanks to our director and star, the kind of class before we get the 23rd feature installment this fall. Scripted by John Logan, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade the next 007 adventure is set to be released on November 9th – ‘Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost’. The film also stars Javier Bardem, Dame Judi Dench as M, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Naomie Harris, Bérénice Marlohe, Helen McCrory, Ola Rapace with Ben Whishaw. Take a look at the sleek TV spot below. Source: ComingSoon
