Hey guys, check out the latest (international) trailer for 300: Rise Of an Empire movie! As you're going to see, this new video gives us a much better look at Xerxes, Artemisia, and Themistokles, but also shows that Noam Murro‘s upcoming action adventure is full of an epic bloody sea-action. After all, you can't control water, right? Head inside to take a look…
Like any good story, there's going to be hyperbole and there's going to be exaggeration. And the accuracy historically, I think I'm going to get a couple of letters that are going to challenge the historical accuracy of this. You're telling a story based on history. There is certainly history there and it's based on history, but like any good story, it takes off.
That's exactly what director Murro had to say about his movie which is set to hit theaters on March 7th, 2014, and has an awesome cast on board.
In case you forgot, Sullivan Stapleton, Eva Green, Lena Headey, Hans Matheson, David Wenham, Rodrigo Santoro, Igal Naor, Callan Mulvey, Jack O'Connell and more star in this new chapter of the epic saga that:
…takes the action to a fresh battlefield – on the sea – as Greek general Themistokles attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war. 300: Rise of an Empire pits Themistokles against the massive invading Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes, and Artemesia, vengeful commander of the Persian navy.
