Set around the holidays, Adam's character reluctantly invites his sister for a visit, after some encouragement from his wife (Katie Holmes)…
Jack is a successful advertising executive in Los Angeles with a beautiful wife and kids. He has always been dreading the Thanksgiving visit of his identical twin sister Jill because her neediness and passive-aggressiveness is maddening to him. “She only comes once a year and she's leaving on Sunday,” his wife assures her. Katie Holmes will play opposite Adam as Jack's wife. Al Pacino is added to the cast ensemble as the man who sets his eyes on Jill.
The film is directed by Sandler and comedy veteran Dennis Dugan (Problem Child, Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy, Beverly Hills Ninja, Saving Silverman, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, You Don't Mess with the Zohan, Grown Ups). The screenplay was co-written by Ben Zook, SNL's Robert Smigel and Steve Koren.
Jack and Jill hits theaters on November 11th, 2011.
