Christopher Nolan Confirmed To Write & Direct INTERSTELLAR

Nick Martin March 9, 2013 Add a Comment
Christopher Nolan Well, it's now official: Christopher Nolan is set to direct and produce the sci-fi project called Interstellar, which will be a co-production between Warner Bros. and Paramount Pictures set for domestic release on November 7th, 2014 with an IMAX release planned. Originally set for Steven Spielberg, the project is based on a script by Christopher's brother Jonathan Nolan. Christopher will re-write and direct the film about ‘ a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding' built out of the theories of theoretical physicist Kip Thorne. The Feynman Professor of Theoretical Physics at Caltech has spent his life demonstrating space, from his perspective, as the oft-rumpled fabric of the universe that bends, stretches, and squeezes as objects move through it and can even fold in on itself when faced with the extreme entities known as black holes. He calls this view the ‘warped side of the universe.' Yep, this is gonna be big sci-fi. Are you surprised Nolan's film jumps around so fast? Well, rumors articles will spark even more speculations as the months roll on. Check out the press release:
