Dwayne Johnson Tweets More HERCULES Photos

Nick Martin September 4, 2013 Add a Comment
Hercules-The Rock The Fast & Furious 6 star Dwayne ‘The Rock' Johnson is currently busy with the shooting of his new movie, Paramount's fantasy epic Hercules: The Thracian Wars based on the popular comic book. Johnson has shared two more teaser photos from the set of his upcoming flick on his Twitter account. For the first photo (click on it for a bigger version), he wrote:
HERCULES. We have the best film designers in the world. Respects the mythology w/ great detail.
Hercules - Weapons For a second pic of his wounded shoulder, he said:
Hair/make up trailer – HERCULES. Asked how I got my shoulder slice scars. From a satisfied woman w/ long ass nails;)
Hercules-Dwayne Johnson Ryan Condal and Evan Spiliotopoulos adapted the script from Radical Studio's graphic novel ‘Hercules: The Thracian Wars'. Brett Ratner‘s action adventure has moved from August 8th, 2014 to July 25th, 2014 and stars Johnson, Aksel Hennie, Rufus Sewell, Ian McShane, Antje Traue, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan, and John Hurt. The budget is supposed to be around $70 million. Check out the synopsis for a revisionist take on the classic myth set in a grounded world where the supernatural does not exist:
Everyone knows the legend of Hercules and his twelve labors. Our story begins after the labors, and after the legend… Haunted by a sin from his past, Hercules has become a mercenary. Along with five faithful companions, he travels ancient Greece selling his services for gold and using his legendary reputation to intimidate enemies. But when the benevolent ruler of Thrace and his daughter seek Hercules' help to defeat a savage and terrifying warlord, Hercules finds that in order for good to triumph and justice to prevail… he must again become the hero he once was… he must embrace his own myth… he must be Hercules.
