The Adventures of Tintin More international posters and new trailer for The Adventures of Tintin, Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson's lovingly motion-captured adaptation of a beloved Belgian comic, have been outed by Paramount Pictures and Columbia Pictures. The film revolves around the character of Tintin, an intrepid young reporter whose pursuit of a good story thrusts him into a world of high adventure. The motion capture effects are being spearheaded by Peter Jackson's WETA digital effects house, which introduced the clip on its website by warning viewers to “prepare to be blown away.” The Adventures of Tintin, written by Steven Moffat and Edgar Wright & Joe Cornish and features the voices of Jamie Bell, Andy Serkis, Daniel Craig, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Gad Elmaleh, Toby Jones, Mackenzie Crook, opens in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D theaters on December 23rd, 2011.
