A Sneak Peek At THE NECESSARY DEATH OF CHARLIE COUNTRYMAN

Shia LaBeouf- Evan Rachel Wood - Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman - Detail Shia LaBeouf is leaving blockbusters behind with a major role in Robert Redford‘s political thriller The Company You Keep, as well as in Trier‘s erotic drama The Nymphomaniac and another upcoming film, called The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman. Here's the first image of the 26-year-old thesp sporting some greasy-looking longer hair with a scruffy beard and mustache, set next to the carefully coifed Evan Rachel Wood(The Ides of March). Directed by the first-time feature film director Fredrik Bond and based on the Black List script written by Matt Drake (Project X), the noir romance is currently in post-production, also starring Mads Mikkelsen, Rupert Grint, Melissa Leo, James Buckley and Til Schweiger. The story follows Charlie Countryman (LaBeouf), who while traveling abroad falls for Gabi (Wood), a Romanian beauty whose unreachable heart belongs to another, her gangster ex Nigel (Mikkelsen). Expect that movie on next year's festival circuit. Click on the image for a high-res version. Shia LaBeouf- Evan Rachel Wood - Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman
Charlie Countryman (LaBeouf) was just a normal guy…until he fell in love with the one girl who will probably get him killed. When Charlie meets the absolutely irresistible Gabi she's already been claimed by Nigel, an insanely violent crime boss with a gang of thugs at his disposal. Armed with little more than his wit and naïve charm, Charlie endures one bruising beat down after another to woo Gabi and keep her out of harm's way. Finally his exploits of blind valor create such a mess that he's left with only one way out; to save the girl of his dreams, must Charlie Countryman die?
