Adam Rodriguez and Rachael Harris are the latest two to sign on for the new Luke Mathaney-helmed project, Lovesick.
Rodriguez, best known for his role on CSI: Miami and Hangover star Harris have been added to the growing cast of indie romcom Lovesick led by Friends star Matt LeBlanc, who signed on this spring to play the part of Charlie Darby, a man who falls clinically insane every time he experiences love.
Rodriguez will portray Jason, the married best friend to LeBlanc's Charlie character, while Harris has signed on to play Roberta, ‘an aggressive date of Charlie's.'
Dean Young wrote the screenplay and is an executive producer on the film which co-stars Ali Larter, Chevy Chase and Kristin Johnson.
Mathaney, who won an Oscar in 2011 for his short film Love of God is currently filming Lovesick in Los Angeles.
Rodriguez, an American actor of Puerto Rican and Cuban descent most recently showed a lot of skin and done some serious booty shaking in the new male stripper movie Magic Mike.
Harris, who starred in the indie dramedy Natural Selection which was well received at its 2011 South by Southwest debut has signed on to ABC's Cougar Town.
