HR – make sure you remember that title! Yet another pilot for Lifetime, but the big news is that Alicia Silverstone is on board to play the female lead!
And, in case this already sounds familiar to you, let us just remind you that the project was initially greenlit as a pilot last summer, but now when they have their lead – it’s time to move forward with production, right?
I Melt With You writer Glenn Porter is in charge for the script which will center on the uptight Director of Human Resources for a global company, who, after a head injury alters her outlook on life, throws standard corporate practices out the window and inspires the business to strive for new ambitions and profits.
Doesn’t sound bad at all, and as you already guess – Silverstone is on board to play that director. HR is executive produced by Aaron Kaplan of Kapital Entertainment, who originally developed the project as a spec, and co-executive produced by Porter and Michael Lohmann.
We’re glad to hear that Silverstone is back, so we’ll keep an eye on this pilot!
