Anne Hathaway is now attached to star and to produce the upcoming indie titled Song One, which will reunite her with Rachel Getting Married producers Marc Platt and Jonathan Demme.
Kate Barker-Froyland is responsible for the script, and she is also attached to direct the whole thing.
At this moment we know that Song One will follow a young woman who returns home after her brother is injured, only to meet and romantically connect with his favorite musician, who draws inspiration from the siblings.
So, it's actually a romantic drama, huh? Well, good for Hathaway, she'll get back to her roots. And although there's still nothing official about her role in the whole thing, we can easily presume that if she does come on board – she'll play the young woman mentioned above.
