Universal Pictures has released, through iTunes Trailers, the epic new trailer and poster for the highly anticipated action-adventure film Battleship. Inspired by Hasbro’s classic naval combat game the film starring Taylor Kitsch, Brooklyn Decker, Alexander Skarsgård, Rihanna, Asano Tadanobu, and Liam Neeson.
The film sees a group of international navy ships come under attack from an alien enemy during an “international naval war games.”
Peter Berg (Hancock) produces and directs the epic-scaled action-adventure that unfolds across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior force.
Battleship hits theaters on May 18th, 2012.
